Those bulls are raised and treated well before they die, yet the cattle raised around the world are kept in confined pens and are not allowed to live a full life... Ask your self would you rather live well and not die for a McDonalds burger or live your life confined and in squalid conditions and then have your throat slit without being stunned as this is how more and more animals are being slaughtered each year "Halal" style. Humans eat meat and that will never change.

Tradition is a man-made concept that is utilised as an excuse when people have no proper explanation of or for their actions. 'Traditionally' people were hung as witches, disembowelled for perceived crimes and buried/burned alive, among many other disgusting brutalities (and it still goes on today in some countries).

I'd like to think some of us at least have moved on from primitive need for power over others which is what your and all so-called tradition boils down to.

I support bullfighting, and people are entitled to their opinions. It's good to see average people influencing the government, but bad that this law infringes on the rights of some humans (the fans), even though without the law the anti-bullfighting activists were not being harmed in any way. Basically

with law = less freedom, and no more of a long-lasting tradition

and without law = more freedom and the continuation of an amazing pastime, at the cost of some bulls' lives. Yes I'm a Christian.
