Im sorry my friend but adding a cold air intake could not possibly give you a gain of 35 hp. Especially on that v6. Plus, that 3.1 is rated at 135 hp and 180 lb-ft torque. It was later upgraded to 140 hp and 185 lb-ft torque. Those are really slow motors and there is no denying that. I have owned one and driven many others. I worked for a car dealer for 6 yrs and know those cars.
@clueworm82 lol mabey i didnt list all the things i did to it i bored it out not only cold air intake but a chip and a master flow oxygen sensor with 2 and 3/4 inch pipes gave it like 10 pounds more torque and tuned it and dynoed it before i put the chip in i was running about 180 like i said put it in pushing 220 hp about the same as that firebird and mines a manual 5 speed and weighs about 2300 pounds i took out pointlest stuff like back seats and everything in the back need to upholster it
god damn thats sick. i bet you get some stares from the ricer rockets. that car is real performance. i have a 89 RS 305 and its a dog compared to your car. but its still fun to drive. your car is disgustingly fast. i like it. not much can keep up with that.

got one 3.1l got cold air intake for it stock makes 185 hp and with cold air makes up to 220 hp same as the 5.0
