1st, thanks so much for making this wonderful tribute to Mr. Fairbanks, Jr. I love him so & loved the song you chose; simply beautiful. It suited him perfectly.

2nd, I agree with niceguy63073--he had many wonderful, beautiful leading ladies! Too bad I wasn't born in that era, so I could've been one of them, lol.

Lastly, I recognized most of his leading ladies at the end, but not at the beginning. Can anyone tell me who they are between 1:32 - 2:34? I'd be most grateful. Thanks! :-)

I can give you some of the names (in order of appearance) (1) Young Bette Davis (2) Unknown (3) Loretta Young (4) Nancy Carroll (5) Unknown (6) Irene Dunne (7) Maria Montez . The remainder unknown. Perhaps other viewers can fill in the gaps.

Thanks so much, basilnelson. I tried to do my part and figure out the other ladies, but wasn't so successful. Thus, I don't know who's at (2) or (5).

The only one I figured out of the 'unkown' bunch was Danielle Darrieux. She starred with Mr. Fairbanks, Jr. in THE RAGE OF PARIS (1938), and she's the one at 2:23 and 2:28. I can't tell if she's also at 2:34. It could be her, but I might be wrong.

Anyway, thanks again for letting me know as much as you could. :-)
