He even made me start to like Endless Love, which I had always thought of as a silly teen song...but with the emotion he packed into it and his sexy voice...I couldn't stop myself from buying that one, too from itunes. I completely agree with you and I will give u a thumbs up. Rudeness that ppl will minus u. The top 5 this season were all good but they didn't finish in the right order. Order should have been: 1) Adam, 2) Danny (this could also be Allison but there was no way 2 rockers were going to go into the top 2), 3) Allison, 4) Kris, and 5) Matt
(This list is based on live performances more so than studios but I think the studio order would be the same except Matt would probably be higher.)

Danny does not represent true Christians. True Christians follow the Bible and it says Judge not that ye are not judged. The bible talks of a Jesus who dined and wined with sinners. Danny has a good voice but let me tell you why he did not win. It's called greed and jealousy apart from the fact that he has no star power at all. It's a shame that he followed the instructions of his church leaders and wrote a blog the night before the finale on CNN/Larry King and called it out for Kris so that his fans can vote for him but not for Adam. It really looks like his "church education" did not help him much about not to be prejudist. Wishing you the best of luck Danny.

Spot on eraysonat: I just watched the 26 minute coverage of the top 13 on Larry King show where danny was bitching about and it just re-inforced my dislike for danny gokey. The final four on American Idol 2009 were each good enough to win the title. Allison, Danny, and Adam have instantly recognizable unique voices. Chris is sometimes very good. Allison was easily the best of the girls. Adam is a crazy talent. But, when I view this performance by Danny (PYT) I'm blown away! He gets my vote.

Yes, both Adam and Kris can sing, but the cold heard facts are that Kris talented as he is got to the final 2 because of his looks. I love Danny not because of "sympathy" but because he is everything a true idol should be. The final four on American Idol 2009 were each good enough to win the title. Allison, Danny, and Adam have instantly recognizable unique voices. Chris is sometimes very good. Allison was easily the best of the girls. Adam is a crazy talent. But, when I view this performance by Danny (PYT) I'm blown away! He gets my vote.
Can't wait for the summer tour to hit my neighborhood.

I believe with all of my heart that Danny should have been the winner. Yes, both Adam and Kris can sing, but the cold heard facts are that Kris talented as he is got to the final 2 because of his looks. Adam is already a professional and he has had many years of traning and therefore an unfair advantage.

Danny is amazing! It's really sad and unfair that he got voted off. It's because a ton of girls think Kris is cute. Well, news flash- American Idol is about ability to make a song suit your voice, singing that song-and performing- it well. Danny and Adam should have been the top two. I've been a fan of Danny's since the auditions, and he has an amazing voice. Everyone vote for Adam now! I'd hate to see Kris win because of looks. So what if Adam is gay? HE CAN SING! Adam gets special camera angles(the camera crew R experts, and should best every Idol), the judges play mind tricks with everyone but Adam, the producers tell other media to promote Adam over all, and the judges focus too much on Adams ridiculous dress:its NOT that appealing, but the judges say that even Adams farts are cool. It should have been Danny and Adam in the finals NOT Kris...WHO in their right mind would choose somebody as entertaining as wallpaper over Danny? Seriously, I think Adam deserves to win over Kris and I'm definitely voting for Adam...but Danny and Adam were good competition for one another...they are the only ones who had passion in what they do...they should demand a re-vote....Anyway, in the least vote for Adam over Kris...no way that Kris deserves to win this period.

Uhhh, who's naive? LOL. The producers want STORIES because they're goal is GOOD TV. Duh. They have people talk to these kids so as to try and get some kind of angle on them. Some story that they can follow and grab the audience with.Then they take it and run with it. That's how it works, my dear. It's called editing and it's all about getting viewers hooked on the cast.

I love Danny not because of "sympathy" but because he is everything a true idol should be. A gentleman, someone with personality, someone with a good heart, and someone who can sing and let all the emotions out. When Danny sings he has passion and so much dedication. So sure, Adam Lambert may win but Danny has something more than Adam and some people are too blind to realize it.

Adam is being judged for his talent not his lifestyle. He is extremely talented. " I could write about Danny He is getting sympathy votes because of his wife and that .he is also part of the ultra conservative christian right and they all vote for him based on that not his talent or lack thereof." Not sure where you are going on that one. He is some singer from a blue collar sheet metal plant area in Milwaukee. He sings pretty good. He moves average. It is a production...a tv show. he is doing pretty good. Lambert is doing well. They are having the time of their life on a tv show...not reality. So enjoy yourself and enjoy singers..performers doing what they do?
