is tomb raider anniversary just a remake of tomb raider 1 ? i have tomb raider 1 and 2 and chronicles but i haven't finished a single one cause they were waay to hard for me when i was 6! now it's summer holiday at my country and yesterday me and my cousin suddenly came up with the idea to play TR 2 again and its awesome :D its scary as fuck xd

When i versed this boss on the very 1st game, i'd used to go in a little broken bit in the mountain and just stand there shooting it with pistols, it was an instant win!

I agree. Better graphics are just better graphics (I don't think the actual graphics are better in characteres, in scenarios yes). But THE GAME, was far better in the old good times. Playstation had better games than ps2 and ps3. Tomb Raider 1 and 2, Resident Evil 1 and 2, MK3, MK3U, Excellent games !!

have you ever even played the the original tomb raider? im guessing you havent. it required an entire process just to jump a gap. me a graphic whore, yea pretty much. im guessing you want to play a lot of the new games out there but your pc is one of the voodoo equiped graphic card computers so you base your enjoyment strictly on a game and not its visuals. you can admire lara's triangular tits all you want ima go play splinter cell double agent.

Umm no. i have a PC with a quad Processer, 512mb Ram video Card with a surroud sound system. Graphics only make a game look pretty dude. No matter what the original's are better then the remakes. Why? Best they're the ones that give you memories. Besides i\ve bet you've never played TR1 on the PS1.

Ah the lost valley good old tomb raiding at its best I'm sure it was harder to kill the dinosaur in the original though & although the cogs puzzle is bigger in Anniversary I much preferred the cog puzzle in the original!

All you have to do is keep shooting it until it's anger meter turns red. Then it'll come towards you. You have to jump at the precise moment and when it goes slow-mo, shoot it in the eye when the two targets join and make a beeping noise. Repeat this process until the bastard dies. Pretty much what happens in this video.

Just continually shoot the bastard until the rage meter turns red. Try to lure it towards those spiked things in the area and as it charges it will lose more health if it runs into the spikes. Also, try to keep some distance between you and the dinosour, otherwise he can easily get at you. You may want to use shotgun for the battle, it's a lot easier.

Yeah, but you don't get the shotgun until after you beat Larson, which is at the end of the 1st level. After you get the first piece of the Scion.

No, you can get it much earlier in this level!

In the beginning of ,The lost valley' (where you have to climb and jump a lot) you've to go over a plank bridge to get the first pinion (do you remember?). When you shoot at the fixture of the bridge it'll fall down. Go now to the beginning of the bridge and climb on it till you can see an alcove on right hand. Jump to it, run a little and you can find the shotgun.

nope, you can get the shotgun first if you go into a little cave near a bridge over the waterfall interception to the fast river untill it gets to the BIG waterfall lol

its not just after you beat Larson, look, just like that Gangster that works for natla wich name i don´t know, but you can get his UZIs in Egypt

Yes, I have been a fan of Tomb Raider since the word go, but I am also a fan of the CD games.

It's still the same franchise.

Core lost the franchise, shit happens. It's not CD's fault. I really did enjoy this game.

I can farely say its a huge improvement over Legend. Which is a good thing to know that they are improving. I must say though, the whole "clamber up cracks in a pillar" thing is wearing thin. I hope they come up with something new.

This game is awful. YThis level was supposed to be full of exploration, and instead we get 6 lizards and one boss fight. Then it's over. No side caverns, barely any secrets, and nothing but ledges.

Way to ruin the classic Crystal.

Yes, this game (especially this level) was a huge disappointment. The graphics and controls were amazing, but the exploration and problem solving seemed almost nonexistent. At a couple times, I was even disappointed there wasn't more combat.

It seems to me the game removed what made the classic so breathtakingly awesome, and replaced those things with beautiful graphics (a distraction) and way too much climbing and traipsing along ledges.

I agree with you on that one. WAY to much ledge jumping and climbing... The graphics are a nice effect... But I'd stick to the original games by Core. Atleast with their games, you can actually SOLVE a puzzle or two. ^^
