This is a semi-brick. In a full brick, the screen stays black and you cant get into the recovery menu.

@granturismofan125 No. that was blocked. what you gotta do is put the 5.00 fw onto a mms and then turn it on while the battery is in pandora mode (if you have a special button pandora battery have that on pandora mode) And also hold the L trigger while turning it on, and then turn it back off if pandora mode works but still nothing comes up. If something does come up, boom, unbricked. If it doesn't, switch it off, back on, and HOLD FOR 30 SECONDS. It is then guaranteed to come back on.

Turn off your psp. Turn it back on and hold the L trigger and power switch for 30 seconds. Load 5.00 fw Turn off your psp switch back to normal battery. If i ever brick my psp again ill submit a video.

@India1011 No. Actually I was a battery problem after all! I accidentaly made the battery into Pandora with a program called RECOVERY or something and after that I hadn't access on psp. After sometime after puting some thought. I took out the battery and run the psp by only using the recharge cable. Then I put in the battery while the psp was ON and brought the battery back to normal from pandora. Then the psp was just fine.

@SwordSkill2 Oh, I know what you're talking about. In the M33/GEN recovery there is a action to "turn battery into pandora" or something like that. You must have either a early 2000 psp or phat because though mine is hackable, it doesn't create pandora.

Someone should make a homebrew application for the psp which allows you to copy, cut, and/ or paste files to and from the memory stick to any of the flashes (including flash0) from the psp so you could have the 176 xmb waves saved on your memory stick, and then copy the one you want to the flash0 and overwrite the current one all from the convenience of your psp on the go.

you're not out of luck if you cant access recovery mode.... its called fully bricked and you can unbrick and bricked psp.

Okay, today I managed to brick my PSP, however, after following ever single step, I try to click on 'Run program at'. But then my PSP just goes blank for about a milisecond and looks as through it's just refreshing the page. I don't know what to do lol, though I managed to brick my PSP via the files in the flash0 folder. To fix any bricked psp you need a pandoras battery and some files to loaded on you're memery card.... i have 3 pandoras batteries i will give ONE away it you will send a box to my address and i will send it back with the pandoras battery :/ Sent me a message ill give more info for address and cell number.
