  • WJC your an idiot and a bigot how dare you say that African AMerican in this country have the same opputunity you have that is false and if you read a book or looked at the disparities in education, workforce and prisons youd know that. No we shouldnt vote for a president because hes black but Obama is the best candidate you idiot!!!!!!!!!!!! your so dam ignorant

  • kcal your ignorance to realities of the psychological enslavement caused by slavery and oppression tells me you must be uneducated yet you insist on opening your mouth stop while your ahead. you have no idea how psychologically oppressed African Americans our even that Black husband who you love so much. The damage is residual and will take centuries if not more to fix. Afircan American our NOT i repeat OUR NOT on the same playing field as whites in this country we our the oppressed still

  • History can't be ran from or ignored...but it can be a great wisdom to teacher to learn from for a better future.

  • @dontworryaboutit2110 watch?v=THqSurkgb8c

If you believe heavily in "do unto others" then that also means you want yourself to undergo the same punishments you wish your "despicable human beings" to go through. Who are you to say who deserves an eternal damnation in hell and who does not? I recall a little something in the bible stating "judge not lest ye be judged".

  • @dontworryaboutit2110 What's below hell? I find it awfully crude of you to say that you prefer anyone to receive eternal torture for anything. Sure the people back then did some unspeakable things, but the majority of them were raised to act in such a way. How can one truly say that others are deserving of eternal fire simply for being led astray?

  • @QueenSheeba327 I absolutely agree with you!

  • AFTER... The civil war? maybe? (even though african americans participated in that)

  • im really feeling this videoo...im just threw up in my mouth :( WHITE POWER!!!! niggers should be slaves agin

  • Hey yor momma was my sex slave

  • How does it feel PINKKISSES9? How does feel to know that a man whom just happens to a member of a race of people you hate...is in charge...? hurt don't it! If you don't like African Americans...now is the time move you racist BITCH! but wait....where are you going to go...????

PS: Your always welcome to next BBQ.......at the white house BITCH!

  • I mean Obama is half white as well.

  • cave from wow

  • Tuesday.

  • Yes Truth!

    Truth stands on it's own.

    I do agree...however, Truth isn't

    personal.

  • What the fuck are saying...the big picture is this "for the first time in AMERICAN HISTORY, someone other than a white man from the South...is going to be or might be president of the free world...and someone with out a penis might be vice president of the free world.....if you don't like hearing about out racist past then it shouldn't never have happened....you reap what you sow...

  • thats because your white....white people aren't racist to their own kind much.....and if you think about it...blacks only make up 13.5 % of the population...the majority is still white folks....just look up racism against Obama on Youtube

  • ok wow kkk much? thats the black stereo type! if your such a white enthusiast than why did you look up this video? and what makes whites any better? Your race started the whole mistreatment of blacks! and anyway hair, skin, eye color makes no difference were all human, and were all created by god. Blacks are just as much as educated as you are. Call us ghetto but look at your redneck cousins. Each race has its upper people and the lower ones. stop being so narrow minded.

  • You racist piece of shit! How dare you? I bet you won't say the shit to a group of Black voters bitch! how can you watch this video and not be moved? Did you think that those were good times in our history? And the reason the voting process doesn't work is because your so called JIM CROW bullshit............stop being scared of us...

  • Did you watch the election last night you piece of shit, trashy, dumb-ass white bitch? HE WON BOTH THE POPULAR AND ELECTORAL VOTE!!! Take you stupid ass back to the trailer park or the cave from which you came.

    Trash!!!!!!

  • I'm glad that you know your history and even happier that you didn't have to live thru it. You speak as if it was nothing because it was nothing to you. You can go on if you'd like.

  • thank you....

  • i really wanna cry it's very sad how whites use to treate us ,but now it's time for a change

    OMBAM BABY OBAMA

  • Beautiful and moving, soulfull and graphic, I favorited it instantly thank you for the historic reminder.

  • Well, I believe the sole purpose of this video was to display how far we have come in america. I think Dr. King's Dream has not come totally true but has made great strides. I also think it is a motivational tool for everybody to vote. God Bless!

    Obama/Biden 08

  • What was Dr King's Dream?

  • I'm glad someone got where I was coming from!

  • I made this video because I was upset that so many young African Americans in my community didn't want to vote. I didn't vote for Obama in the primaries, I voted for Clinton. But my grandfather is a vet, he was stationed in Pearl Harbor, fought in WWII side by side with white men, only to ride back on the back of the bus. To see tears in his eyes that he's lived to see this transpire inspired this video. He marched with Dr. King. He inspired this, not Barack Obama. I'm sorry I offended people!

  • I am so tired of people using their blackness as a crutch. Slavery is long gone. You have every opportunity that I have, if not more. For anyone to vote for someone only because he is black is just as bad as someone not voting for him because he is black. Look at his politics and the people he associates with and if you still think that he is the best candidate then you're a dumbass!

  • The wounds from Jim Crow are still healing. My father has a scar from a dog bite when he used to march in the 60s, and a bullet hole permanently lodged in his brain from a KKK member that shot him back in 1961. Yet he taught us never to hate anyone for the color of their skin, gender, sexual preference. This was to inspire AFRICAN-AMERICANS to vote, because so much was risked for that right. Black and White lives were lost, you should never forget! P.S. I voted for Hillary in the primaries!

  • Slavery is gone but the scars of the civil rights movement are still deeply ingrained in alot of americas. I don't think this video is telling them to vote for Obama b/c he's black its saying don't take your RIGHT to vote for granted when so many before you fought very hard for them to get the opportunity today and for obama to get the opportunity to be a serious presidential candidate.

  • I totally disagree with Obama, and think he would NOT be a great president, and might be a mistake as a first Black president. But, the video is very good, and is touching. But I can't vote for Obama. period.

  • Let us not forget that Dr. King was a Republican, and it was the Republican party that made sure the Civil Rights Act got passed. Barack wants what is best for Barack. McCain truly wants what is best for our country. Judge them both "on the content of their character, not on the color of their skin".

  • What history class did you attend. Kennedy was a democrat that helped get rights for blacks...duh! Furthermore blacks were republicans back in the days of Lincoln, because Lincoln was a republican. And everyone is totally missing the point of this video. I am not playing the race card, but its obvious everyone else is!

  • funny.. the republican party TODAY is not the same republican party it once was or what it was in MLK's time.

  • Directly from Dr. King's speech, "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character."

Barack Obama is sorely lacking in the character department. The people with whom he has shared his closest relationships and friendships throughout his adult life hate America, hate white people, or hate both. One does not associate with such people for so long unless one shares those views.

  • Yeah, because Dr. King's dream was to have a president elected solely based on his skin color.

What a bunch of idiotic douchebags.

  • A "christian" church promoting a candidate who wants to kill innocent children. When you meet GOD, I hope you have a good answer for your choices.

  • Ok, first of all. A woman's right to choose is between her and God. We as believer's in Christ should make the decision not to abort, but the bible says to judge not. God gives us free will, and in his eyes sin is sin... no sin is greater than the other. Ask yourself this... would you rather another child grow up and be apart of this broken world or have instant access to Christ. If the mother didn't want them, God does. God knows my heart, don't judge me or anyone else!

  • @wjc13 Are awfully judgemental to consider yourself a christian. I suggest you put your ego and check and take a second look into that bible of yours and read the magic words that every man should know. They start with "do unto others...." and I'm sure you should know the rest. Peace be with you on your way.

  • Boo to race-baiters. Because Obama is black is inconsequential. It shouldn't matter what color the man is, it matters whether you feel he represents your political philosophy or not, bottom line.

He's not my candidate because he's too much of a socialist with questionable ties to questionable people in his history. If he was white, green, red or purple, I still wouldn't vote for him because I'm not a socialist into income redistribution.

  • I want blacks to vote, and his skin is black. He has accepted it, so you should. I am tired of hearing my brothers and sisters on MLK Dr. saying their vote won't count, well maybe if they see someone like them running it will motivate them to want to participate in this election. We need a change I believe in his politics, and me myself being multi-racial believes in his story so what was the point of your comment?

  • As someone who is myself of a mixed race, I consider myself to be African-American. I wasn't born here, I was born in the Dominican Republic. This is about the struggle that people of color went through to get to this point to even be considered for such an esteemed position, because if your skin is black (no matter your lineage) you have to work twice as hard to reach your goal and prove yourself a constructive member of society. Your comment isn't only uneducated but ignorant. I'll pray for you!

  • and your saying this because? what is the color of his skin?
