Could you give me a couple of tips on how you play the chords and the additional chords you play with your right hand on occasion? Like, I noticed you didn't play the left hand chords all three notes at a time sometimes, and I kinda want a bit of help with that? :)

Just try and use the chords for the left hand and your ear to figure out the melody. Once you get used to learning songs this way you'll love it.

Yeah! But I think what makes the Killers special and hold the interest, as well as sound "more" beautiful is that they're able to take a song which could actually get by with fairly standard 4 chord sequence and sound "ok" but they introduce EMaj, Fsharp Maj, Csharp major at convenient points to bridge between the other chords and bounce the other chords around in an unusual order compared with other simple ballads. There are 7 chords (or at least 7 variations on chords). Does that make sense!?
