I own a 94 z28 camaro , convertible and it was a speacial order, it is green, and it came with green leather seats, green carpet, green floor mats, green rag top, and every seat had the z28 emblem w the bowtie, so did the floormats, it has a 110 speedometer and everybody asks me why? I can surley say for no specific reason but only a speacial order vehicle wud have it. I get compliments on it daily, the original owner was a general manager for a autoplex, in auatin, texas, its a 9 out of 10
do these cars come with a 110 mph dash or a 150 mph i went to go look at one today and it was a 95 z28 with a 6 speed with 105xxx miles but things didnt add up it had a 110 mph dash and the speedo was off by alot almost half tell me what you think thanks
@MrRittermn i know that you posted 2 months ago, so this may be irrelvant. But as a camaro enthusiast, i can say, that very seldom did the z28 package ever come with a 110 mph speedo. Now thats not to say that it wasnt ordered like that from the factory, but i couldnt imagine why someone wouldnt want to know how fast over 110 they were going. My guess is it was a v6 with a z28 exterior package dropped into it, and perhaps the lt1 in the engine bay.
Between the economy and the fact they haven't made these for 7 years has really hurt the dollar value of these cars. Which is good news for buyers that still remember them, like me. I just bought one in excellent condition for next to nothing, and there were plenty to choose from. Good prices, good relibility history, and plentiful supply make these the best sports car value going right now.
