@ringedgebetterbereal im pretty sure it was about 10.6 million worldwide that were made and when they started to clear them out they sold out completely.I could be wrong but thats what i thought i remember hearing back in the day...lol funny thing is i have 9 brand new DC's including the black sports dc!!
I was wondering if you were gonna say the Turbo Express lol. I have a magazine that had a sneak preview on it and I always wondered why I never saw it. I was like 10 at the time lol
@davidgsr2k Yes I'm Sure, The Games That Zodiac Put Out Were On MMC,Not Sd. You Put ilIegal Roms on a sd card which the Zodiac can Read! but Official Tapwave Games Are On MMC. Does This Clear Thing's Up?
@bigfatjohn120 I kept replaying #27 from the start and it still sounds like he says 1984 to me, but it's not that big of a deal, really. My parents were certainly not trying to "buy" my love either. Now that I'm 22, I can pick up these sorts of things for myself though :D
It sounded like you said the Sega CDX came out in "1984". It was in '94, but I think everyone gets the point. Just figured I'd mention it since you often correct mistakes in other videos. Nice list. Some are somewhat "useless" systems to a non-collector, but they're neat to see.
@Gamester81 hmm probably cus ive heard about it in like a bunch of other vids so if so the gameboy light should be more rare then some of the other ones
The ADAM isn't actually THAT rare, it practically doesn't even deserve to be on the list.
There may have been about 100,000 units sold, but that was only before it was discontinued - most were bought after shops tried to just get them out, and the prices dropped to sometimes under USD 100, but these sales just weren't recorded.
@Gamester81 Awesome. I knew that the AVGN did a review on it and both of the ones he bought didn't work. I checked out your reviews and almost everything else on your channel. You do a lot of great stuff man.
Highlander's OK, but it's not that great. The controls are just as bad as Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde on the NES (especially with attacking). Unless I just suck at it...
i remember beating castlevania in that playchoice-10 back in the days .. in my dads game rental company... just imagine how many games in beat back in the days i truly missed the arcades....
The Gizmondo failed spectacularly, but not only because one of the founders of the company making it was in the mafia (and then died in a strange car "accident"), but also because they forced people to watch commercials before actually being able to play games unless users paid more for a deluxe version. That was arguably one of the most idiotic marketing decisions ever taken, which doomed the system from the start.
The Jag itself only sold like 250,000 units and of that how many people actually bought the CD-ROM? 10 percent? 20 percent tops! It has to be SUPER rare if you consider that! You need to grab them all and sell them on EBAY now!!!
Eh, I don't know man. I honestly don't follow the rarity of consoles. I just ebayed it really quickly and the only one I saw was the one from hong kong. I wasn't trying to contradict you or anything.
I understand elsewhere in the world such as in Europe the Sega CDX was known as the MultiMega from what I've seen on YouTube. I don't know if the MultiMega ever came out in Australia, but I understand there was a PAL version released in Europe. i want a MultiMega, i love the idea of a portable CD player that can also play video games, I know the PSP can play MP3 files, but it's not the same.
I really wanted that turbo express back in the day I thought it was the coolest thing ever because of TV tuner plus it was the only handheld device that could play Street Fighter II I had to settle for a Gameboy.

Do you always leave the arcade systems on?
won't the screens get ruined that way? because I can see thick scanlines going up the screen which would make playing unbelievably frustrating.

i saw a gizmondo on ebay for €90

BTW, I have two games for it-- Hightlander and Blue Lightning.
