  • Sassee,

Don't worry.the people that matter don't mind, and the people that mind, don't matter. Clay is, as usual, his incredible, funny, spontaeous self. I'll take that ANY DAY over reading from notecards!! WAY TO GO CLAY!

  • Jenna, if you would take the time to listen to the message in every other word between the ums, (more ums than uhs) you would realize that even imperfect oration is powerful when it is coming from someone who has more intelligence, humor and love packed in his little finger than most people possess in their whole body. (uh, um!)

  • Jenna, Clay always talks like that. The only time I ever heard him not talk like that was when he is reading off a teleprompter.

I much prefer him like this - off the cuff and from the heart.

  • A big thank you for going and showing support for all the fans who couldn't go. I am so proud of him and just melt when he is so humble and so funny.

On a more shallow note: He is looking hawt!

  • I personally prefer speeches that are off-the-cuff because it requires the speaker to be in the moment and to speak from the heart and I think Clay did that very eloquently and with a lot of passion!

    Bravo Clay!!!

  • Congratulations Clay.....how wonderful for you, I'm proud to be a Clay Aiken fan, treasure every day you have with little Parker, he's about adorable! :-)

  • Congratulations, Clay!! <3

  • I loved the speech. It is always a thrill to see and hear Clay speak. He looks wonderful and we all miss him so. I know he is very happy now and of course, all of his true fans are so happy for him. I hope we will all be working together for all of Clay's causes. It should be simple. We all have to be supportive of all people that are living good and peaceful lives. That isn't hard at all. I am with Clay 100% and I am straight and 66 years old.

  • I'm so proud of him! and so happy to be his fan!!!

  • I can't think of anyone more worthy of this award this year. Clay has taken so much crap for so many years & it's about time he was honored for the decent man he is & all he does for others.

  • Um, it's the Family EQUALITY Council, you lucky gal who was there but too mesmerized by Clay to notice the name of the organization - LOL! I thought that was a great speech... humble, appreciative, relevant, educational & not long-winded. I hope Clay's fans support this cause just as devotedly as they've supported all the children's charities Clay has worked for, with & created. I love it when he says he's a "gay dad"!

  • It's "Family EQUALITY Council".
