Perhaps incorporating carbon fiber solar powered 70,000 rpm gyroscopes verical-horizontal for navigation, stability and emgency backup power that also perform as a weight centering keel might be a good idea. As I understand it they are capable of operating for days perhaps 96 hours without power once wrapped up to full rpm while tapping some electrical low current probably enough for comm. Just a thought.
