Plus we don't know if Mohammed is dead. His body definitely was but remember that the prophet met all the other prophets in Isra'a and Me'raj he could have joined them. He is still the messenger as his message lives on preserved.
When god says "ennak Mayeton" is god saying to Mohammed "you are dead right now"? of course not. The noun here represents the future. So a noun can represent past present or future. His clever play on words is intriguing and appears logical on the surface but it's a ploy.

Is he not "sa7abey" anymore just because he's dead? Mohammed is "rasool" because god sent him to us. Whether he's dead or not does not remove that attribute from him.
Regarding Syntax of Shahadah, "was a Prophet/ is a Prophet", in fact we are not supposed to call those "dead" who lose their life working "in the way of Allah" (2:154 & 3:169). "Yuqtalu" is used so strictly applies to Martyrs - but knowing this fact, would you deem all the Prophets not to at least have that much status beyond their life on earth? I'm not going to quote a Hadith here since I know the "Submitters" need Quranic evidence.

I just learned about Dr. Rashad Khalifa. He was a very radical thinker and he started his sect of Islam in Arizona. So in the U.S. we have two sects of Islam, the Submitters and the Nation of Islam founded in our country. I know some people will argue these are not sects, but it does prove the long interesting history that Islam has in the U.S.

"Certainly did Allah confer [great] favor upon the believers when He sent among them a Messenger from themselves, reciting to them His verses and purifying them and teaching them the Book and wisdom, although they had been before in manifest error."
Nothing wrong with testifying to the messengership of Muhammad because you put a true statement next to another true statement does not make it shirk, you dont testify to the last messenger being God, you testify that he is the last messenger.

The shahada in Quran 3:18 is indeed the correct shahada. The verse mentions it twice and refers men of knowledge in it so to me it is very convincing.

The testimony that "Muhammad pbuh is the messenger of Allah" is perfectly valid and was taught by the prophet himself and the early muslims as they affirmed their being muslims. Yes we know there are hadtihs that are not authentic, but we also know that there are hadiths that are authentic which does not contradict the Qur'an.

The reason the hadith and sunnah should NOT be followed for spiritual growth is because of this:

Plus we don't know if Mohammed is dead. His body definitely was but remember that the prophet met all the other prophets in Isra'a and Me'raj he could have joined them. He is still the messenger as his message lives on preserved.

Anyone who has any knowledge of arabic language can easily rebut his weak argument. Unfortunately the person debating him is very weak. When we say "Mohmmadon Rasool" doesn't necessarily have to be in the present. When we say Omar is "sa7abey" (prophet companion) is that wrong? Do we always have to say Omar "was" sa7abey. Is he not "sa7abey" anymore just because he's dead? Mohammed is "rasool" because god sent him to us. Whether he's dead or not does not remove that attribute from him.

Regarding Syntax of Shahadah, "was a Prophet/ is a Prophet", in fact we are not supposed to call those "dead" who lose their life working "in the way of Allah" (2:154 & 3:169). "Yuqtalu" is used so strictly applies to Martyrs - but knowing this fact, would you deem all the Prophets not to at least have that much status beyond their life on earth? I'm not going to quote a Hadith here since I know the "Submitters" need Quranic evidence.

I just learned about Dr. Rashad Khalifa. He was a very radical thinker and he started his sect of Islam in Arizona. So in the U.S. we have two sects of Islam, the Submitters and the Nation of Islam founded in our country. I know some people will argue these are not sects, but it does prove the long interesting history that Islam has in the U.S.

in 3:18 it is about who is God alone and so do we say in shahada, but the second part is about believing in Koran, even a christ could say he believes in god alone a jew also all of them can say this!!! the second part is of vital importantce to believe in Koran and its message, the whole contents is from Allah swt and we obey . By the way 3:18 is not the sunna to enter Islam it is to make clear there is only one god, to enter Islam you need to say the whole shahada.

Rashad khalifa states in his website that the five daily prayers have units 2,4,4,3,4. which r the obligatory prayers. He has no proof from Quran of the five obligatory units. He contradicts with his own words by saying that the quran is complete when he states that there has been an addition two ayats in Quran, which concludes the quran has been incomplete for 1400years. Any explanations?

@AsamGhani Listen even the hypocrites confessed this and they were not hypocrites because of the word but because they do not believe in it, and Allah swt did not reprimand them for their word, and they only spoke the second part but because they do not believe in it. This shows the truth for eternity, so I give the one and only true shahada, which has two parts, the first part is not enough because who does make a distinction bewteen Allah and his messenegrs is a disbeliever.

Nothing wrong with testifying to the messengership of Muhammad because you put a true statement next to another true statement does not make it shirk, you dont testify to the last messenger being God, you testify that he is the last messenger.

The shahada in Quran 3:18 is indeed the correct shahada. The verse mentions it twice and refers men of knowledge in it so to me it is very convincing.
this doesn't mean tht he is denying the prophet at all. To believe in the prophet is another testimony but is not required to be a Muslim.

The testimony that "Muhammad pbuh is the messenger of Allah" is perfectly valid and was taught by the prophet himself and the early muslims as they affirmed their being muslims. Also, it also signifies conformity to the teachings of the prophet in the sunnah, something khalifa wanted to omit for an obvious reason. The reason was to put himself in that spot, a very calculated self serving move.

It's also important to note that rashad khalifa had a sufi background. That explains his opposition to the so many unislamic exaggerations and innovations those sufis engage in. However, he went beyond boundary. Also, the mathematical patterns found in the quran had nothing to do with khalifa. They were there to be found. It was just a matter of time. Of course, he twisted many of his irrational inconsistent explanations.

the message throughout the years will naturally be corrupted.
also, god states that the quran is perfect and everything can be derived from it and only it. it is also mathematically composed so that even if the quranic message is passed down through a thousand years or more.... the message can easily be restored if it were to be slightly corrupted over the course of time.
in the future mankind will hold the quran as a source of guidance and the math can keep it preserved. unlike the hadith.

I think you are missing the point. I don't think anyone is trying to say the hadtih is on the same level as the quran. We all know that.
All the hadith does is to go more in detail and explain the qur'an and how the prophet muhammed pbuh followed the qur'an by observing his lifestyle.
Yes we know there are hadtihs that are not authentic, but we also know that there are hadiths that are authentic which does not contradict the Qur'an.

The reason the hadith and sunnah should NOT be followed for spiritual growth is because of this:
the sahi hadith and sunna by bukari were written about 200 yrs after the death of the prophet muhamed. the way his "sayings" were recorded was by asking people who knew someone, who knew someone, who knew someone else, what the prophet might have said 200 yrs ago. even if everyone passing the info down thru the generations were honest... the message will not be perfect. its just common sense

Yes Indeed (Alhumdullah) even every letter is preserved in accordance in God's promise 15:9.
Quran consists of 29 chapters which starts from strange letters (these were hidden for 14 centuries). For example Alif.Laam.Meem (A.L.M) of Chapter 2:1.
The strong mathematical pattern detected "19" every where. This is the common denominator throughout the Quran. e.g..
If you count the number of Q (Qaaf with double dots) in chapter 50 (a Q initialed chapter) there are 57 Qs in this chapter. 57= 19*6.

the authorization of the quran from GOD through one of his chosen messengers serves as proof. the miracle of 19 is mathematical, irrefutable proof that khalifa's translation is the fully restored original version of quran.
if you follow hadiths, i ask the same question: what proof do you have that any of those hadiths are true? why would GOD want us to follow these books also when he states in the quran that it is fully detailed and is all we need?

i think it is sad that you feel people you call "quranics" are in the wrong for following the QURAN. how is anyone who follows the quran doing anything BUT following the prophet , who ALSO followed the quran ALONE. if you believe the quran was sent from GOD and you do not take God's commandments in vain then you will realize it is the only source we need for guidance and there is absolutely no harm in following it alone.

Who tell you that Rukoo was part of Namaz. I did not ask that where is rukoo in Quran. I asked how you know It is part of Namaz
22:77 did not say it is a part of Namaz.
second 22:78 said
it is the religion of your father Ibrahim (Abraham) (Islâmic Monotheism)
it did not say that ALL RELIGIOUS PRACTICE r from Abraham.

and let say Namaz was same as today in Abrahama(as) times. well Quran did not tell that What was the Namaz of Abraham(as).
then who confirms you that , Namaz that we have today was the Namaz of Abraham(as). 22:78 did not say that.

Salaam, What is true and what is not is very clear in the video. Even surah entitled with Muhammad tells us the shahada Laa Elaaha Ellaa Allah, by the way in verse "19".BUT Idol worshipers insists upon adding the names of their idol(s),a human tragedy.
[39:45] When GOD ALONE is mentioned, the hearts of those who do not believe in the Hereafter shrink with aversion. But when others are mentioned beside Him, they become satisfied.
