Great video dude!!!!! I just bought a MacBook a few days ago and was wondering on the difficulty of installing more ram cause I only did the base model that comes with 2gb . I installed 4gb on my Mac mini and it was a breeze let's hope I can my MacBook goes as smoothly
@tylerwright118 I actually believe it does. I think Apple only officially supports the 4GB but the maximum it can take it 8GB, I don't know for sure, but ill let you know later today when i try it out ;)
I am not so intelligent here but ill ask anyways if i were to do this when i put in my new ram do all the apps and files and all my good stuff leave when i do this or do i have to back it all up first then put it back in?
I have a question, I heard the older model macbooks ( non-unibody) can only support up to 3gb even if you had 2x2gb of ram, does the 2010 read all four? thank you
I notice you mentioned the static issue. I have no sort of strap. The manual instructs me to touch the metal on the hard drive to release any static. Is this really a good idea?
Do you recommend 4GB over 2GB, looking at buying my first Mac and wondered if there's a noticeable performance gap between 2 and 4 gigs of memory. Thanks
hi i really want this computer is it capeable of playing world of warcraft? and also is it good for uploading videos to youtube because i want to start doing that unfortunately my mum says its too exspensive so im going to have to save up they wont be making a new one in the next 1-3 years will they? because i want it to last me.
@SonJupiter Your profile says you live in Canada but may I ask in what part you live in!? Do you live in Nunavut or something I mean I live in the GTA and it is nowhere near that dry.
hey can i uypgrade my macbook's ram from 2gb to like 8gb i want to know what's the diffrence...what will it show when using the computer? what will happen by upgrading to your computer
Hi SonJupiter. Another Great Video. I am thinking of upgrading my RAM from 4 to 8 Gigs. I would imagine that there is not much difference in upgrading a MacBook Pro's RAM. My question to you is this. Does removing the screws and upgrading the RaM yourself void the Apple warranty?
where can you buy a new ram
