WTF IS THIS SHIT. Why do they have to change everything ever since the new 360 model came out?! First they change little things like the game covers and now the dashboard. This looks like like a downgraded, simplified version of what we have now. Will it be compulsory to upgrade to this version?

It's like downgrading from Windows Vista Ultimate to Windows Vista Basic, removing Windows Aero and Windows Flip 3D = downgrade. I've only had my 360 for 2 months so I like the current one.

@thegreatman99 it's not as bad as you think. this coming from someone who's seen every version of the dashboard since 360's launch. there will be some things you hate and some things you like, but overall you will get used to it.

that being said- i prefer the old version for now as well. i'd better see some major improvements to the friendliness of the interface or i'll have to pass this off as pointless redesign.

and yes, it will be compulsory. :(

@HarmlessKitten7 If they're going to make it compulsory, then they should only do so if you want to use the Kinect because from what I understand, that's the reason for this 'upgrade'. For those like me that don't want the fucking Kinect, it's actually a downgrade because we can only see 3 selections/items for each tab or wtv instead of 6! I'm not going to use the fucking Kinect so I don't gain anything from having a simplified dashboard. It just makes things harder to navigate!
