Was in the Kop that day and havent were amazing, voted best fans to visit anfield all season, and the least we could do was give them a clap and a cheer, whereas united gave them tickets to the game just for getting one over on us, we did it out of generosity and respect.
Hope they can go on another Fa cup run next season and come back.
i would absloutly agree with that. the liverpool fans were brilliant for us hawks! i dont think any other fans would have sung our name in their grandstand. thanks for the best day of my life at anfield, see u at our place pre-season ;)
Liverpool fans - you really are a class apart. I was at the other end and I am still in awe of how you treated the game, that you took it as a serious fixture, and that you gave our lads the ovation they deserved. It was the day of our lives and I don't think any other club could have done that for us. Thank you!
