As for having the baby and giving it up for adoption: Adoption can really ruin a child. Why do that? Aside from that, why go through with that stress on the body for something that can't even think or live for itself and will likely end up with loads of problems due to adoption?

of course a BORN child is different than an embryo. That doesn't mean however that it isn't human. Is a baby any less human than an adult? Is a baby more kill-able than an adult? On the contrary people lay down their lives so that youth can live. Abortion is the opposite thinking. Also, if the child is to be born without any means to enjoy life, then maybe abortion should be considered. But I don't know where the line is to be drawn for that. i had to look up "Anencephaly"

I have to disagree with you. Every circumstance is different and we have to allow women (and couples) to make the decision themselves. I don't believe you have your facts straight about when most abortions take place. Doctors are not doing them in the second/third trimesters unless there is a medical reason because of the health of the mother.

I am a product of what abortion can do to a person and family. My mom aborted my only sibling a few years before I was ever born, and it still bothers me today. I wonder what if, how my life would be different with that sibling as a part of my life. Also, I was almost aborted too, and would have if not for my dad. I am very lucky to be here, it's scary to think that I could not be.

My idea is to circulate material that shows exactly what happens during an abortion, because you can't fully make a decision without actually knowing the full details and a lot of people receive only one-sided information that makes it way too easy of decision. If it is for a medical reason such as one or the other might die if nothing is done and rape victims are one gray area I won't touch, but for the most part if it is being removed for inconvenience sake, it is not right in my opinion.

There was once a surgery preformed on the placenta while a first trimester embrio was still in the womb. Through the incision the baby reached out and grabbed the finger of the surgeon. You can;t tell me when sentience starts. Its murder because you are killing a consciousness weather or NOT society recognizes its rights. I was born 2 and a half months early.
