  • I love how right in the middle of singing a nice and rather deep song she just randomly says "Throw that into the wastebasket!".

  • 2:11 acid trip lol

  • Thumbs up for epic musical acid trips.

  • Oh Angela Lasnbury, such an actress! Is it sad that the two actresses I want to meet more than any other are Angela Lansbury and Julie Andrews? Between Bedknobs and Broomsticks and Mary Poppins you will find my entire childhood.

  • This is one scary cat.

  • Goodish song.

  • +1 this if you remembered this song from hearing it in the Nostalgia Critic's "Little Nemo" review.

  • Thanks for adding that last part with this song. That song is nothing without the magic.

  • @supermandisco You're welcome. I am glad you enjoy the video.

  • Well, Charles, are you convinced now?"

    "Not yet, I ain't."

DUDE. You just flew through antoher dimension ON A BED.

  • Mary Poppins is a great movie, but I saw this first, this will always be my greatest memory with my mom, I miss the time when musicals meant something, now they are just old and no one respects them...

  • @302fan There are still a lot of us that adore the old musicals. I do agree that most people don't appreciate them now. It took REAL talent to be in the old movies which is something lacking in so many of the so-called celebraties now.

  • Thank you for posting this video. I'm 20 years old. I first saw this movie when I was 3, loved it, over the past 6 years, fought and lost a painful battle against the Age of Not Believing.

But this song helps relieve that wound. Thank you once again.

  • @RyanStileswliia I am glad to hear that this song helps with the pain of not believing. I hope that you gain the ability to believe again. That is something you should never lose.

  • If you remove the sad lyrics, it can be catchy and cheerful.

  • What's that supposed to be? Poetry?

  • MRS. POTTS!! <3333

  • One of the most comforting movies and songs. I don't think I ever hit this age though ^^;

I'm seventeen and the child in me is still the biggest part of my personality. I guess the age of not believing will come later...?

  • @pixiegurl88 Hopefully the age of not believing will never come for you. Thanks to Disney, it is easy to keep the child in us alive no matter what our age is :)

  • I find the child inside me again whenever I hear this song! x x

    I miss all those i have lost x x

  • the age of not believing, when all the make believe is through

when you set aside your childhood heroes

  • what happened to disney. No morales and values. After 2005 it just died. This is what Disney was based on.

  • never saw this movie but 2:10 - 2:34 reminds me of 2001: A Space Odyssey after Hal is dead and Dave is going to Jupiter

  • The strangest line was 'What's my knob got to do with it?'

  • this song makes me want to cry. growing up and realizing peter pan would never take me to neverland and snapping my fingers would never clean my room... SO DEPRESSING.

love the song. Never saw the movie, actually...

  • @MrsPippinBaggins I know you would love the movie. It is available on dvd and you can even find it on vhs I think. It can also be rented.

  • Treguna Mecoides Trecorum Satis Dee

  • What would happen if someone fell off of the bed in midflight while the bed was in the stars?

  • @richardmuthwill a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG Drop

  • Someone should play this film to Hollywood.

  • Where are the kids now?

  • I'm searching for a songbook with the song that Angela Landsbury sings later in the movie- It's called "Nobody's Problems for me" I believe? Does anyone know where I can obtain such a thing?

  • The Sherman Brothers wrote this song right after Walt Disney passed away

  • @ConcreteSurfer420 I did not know that, thanks for the information. So Walt never got to see this movie completed? I am sure he would have been very pleased.

  • This song makes me feel like a kid again!

  • It does have that effect. In fact, it seems everything Disney has that effect :)

  • trippy!

  • lol, mean kitty ^^

  • typical english LOL i am half english from north cool

  • This is my favorite live action Disney Movie from that time period! I love this song!!!

  • *happy sigh*

It's been over three decades, but I never forgot this song.

    Thank you for the clip.

  • This is the first time I've actually listened to the lyrics ever since I was a child. I never realized how touching the song really is.

  • Thanks for the clips maam.

  • Wonderful song...perfect song for me (and my friends) at this point.

  • haha i love this movie, and this song

  • Congratulations to my favorite actress on her FIFTH Tony

  • @WillScarlet16 and now another Tony nom. :)

  • This makes me cry too! It reminds me of my childhood...I haven't watched it in forever. :)

  • This is a beuatiful song and always makes me cry when I hear it ='(

  • This song reminds me of Disney's current state.

  • so true

  • Richard Sherman said this song reflects the doubts during the 1970s that Disney could survive after Walt Disney died.

  • And it is still going strong is some form.

  • If I could I'd give this 6 stars!

  • I'm always just so happy when I hear this song, and I was just as happy when I found the movie on DVD online. Now I can see it whenever I want, but when I just want to see this clip (which is most of the time), I can come here. Thanks for posting it.

  • It is a wonderful song! Glad you enjoy it :)

  • the original Disney films were very classic and I personally think that they had the best musical scores in any films. The songs still are great to listen to, and I'm in college.

  • Yes it is beautiful!

  • What a sweet song!

  • this song used 2 make me cry because i never wanted 2 stop beliveing

  • It is awful to have to grow up and face the real world. Thank God for Disney where we can always go back to the age of believing!

  • I still cry to this day when I hear this song. I remember when I was a little kid, I always wanted to be like Peter Pan and never grow up. But we all have to face the age of not believing.

  • We do have to take on the responsibilities of the real world at some point, but we are never too old to keep the child within alive. That is why I love Disney so much!

  • wot a legend!

  • This song = one of my favorite songs ever!

I also love that upbeat instrumental they use when they travel on the bed.

  • I love the traveling music too!

  • I love the Bedknobs music in general! The songs as well as the musical score are completely beautiful, the overture especially.

  • Oh I remember when I thought Charles was "old" 11/12 years old! ;)

Now I'm 19.. Where did the time go?! :)

  • Wait till you are my age. When this movie was made I was in junior high school. Where did the time go?

  • how old are you if you dont mind me asking

  • I was born in 1956 and am one year younger than Disneyland which opened in 1955. I am 51 years young and 8 years old at heart :)
