they used it again this year. This video was taken two years ago when the Lakers and Celtics met each other for the first time this century. When did the intro come out? I think it used to be just The Nba finals with only the abc logo at the end but when ABC's sports became ESPN style, the brand was added to the logo and made things worse for sports on ABC.

Being a Pistons fan, I would add the clip of Isiah Thomas on the floor passing the ball to Dennis Rodman for the dunk with Rodman extending his fist outward. Game two, NBA Finals 1989.
