@CJ800 I know this is old but no you don't need to own the game just own it to have the id required to play the mini game... hope this helps,(i know about this i own the game have the game but haven't beaten it and i can play the mini game) not a bad video...

@Jamari0903 Thanks. The mini game is free for all to play BUT you need the game (or probably just a save file of the game) to enter the archive room behind Reynard.

I will give it to you that you picked the right 5 spots, but your box setup is bunk. I have never been given the correct one based on your instructions.

@Flasbergo That's the first time I heard such thing. Are you sure you're not doing it wrong?

@CJ800 No. There have been instances when they are setup with none of the mentioned box positions. Like the following surrounding boxes: all but 1 wood, or all wood, or all but one carboard. It's not a big deal. I got the timing down anyway.

@PU912 I'm pretty sure that you need the RE5 game in order to show Reynard your ID, but I don't remember if it requires you to beat the game or not?

@CJ800 u just need the cd inserted man XD nps i did this and it said i needed id when i logged in later after doing re5 he let me in the room isnt not that awesome just lil info bout everyoone a few tips and 4 pictures of maps so ur not missing to much i wonder wut u get for grabbing all 4 beetles tho

you have to complete a little game to unlock other areas

Hey, you probably know this already but you insert RE5 (dont start)

Go to your home press start button go to locations, whole world, capcom, then RE5 Hope this helps

You can just enter the lounge without the game. But you can get free figurine of Chris if you log into Home with the game in your PS3.

Other figurines include Wesker, Jill, Sheva and a Tresure Chest, but these requires you to achieve certain task in RE5.

I've gotten the bug in under 30 seconds and I still don't get the jeweled beetle. I only have got brown-gold. Is this some kind of glitch? Or maybe there's some other type of requirement?

You have to open the crate when there's 30 second or less on the clock.

Yes, the location change all the time, that's why this guide is to show you how to pin point the correct location each time you starts the game.

It would be pointless if I put a video of me running around showing all location of the empty crates.

Do you have to get all beetles before you get the jewel. or can you wait until the right time, and get the jewel when the arcade has that one crate in it?

There's no need to collect other beetle first, you can just wait until the right time to break the right crate.

You got to break the crate for Jewel Beetle when there is 30 seconds or less remaining.
