  • Great. Fantastic.

  • Meiyang Chang studied in Dhanbad, Dehradun, Mussoorie, and Bangalore. He attended Colonel Brown Cambridge School in Dehradun and Wynberg Allen School in Mussoorie. His ancestors come from Hubei province in China in the 18th century and ever since, the family has lived in India. His father is a dentist, while his mother a beautician. He is the only child in the family. Chang is fluent in Hindi, English, Kannada and can understand a bit of Gujarati.

  • now thats call god's gift often i think where he is? but this says he is somewhere & when he gives nobody can snacth it.

  • He is great!. His accent and body language, the way he shakes his head and upper body is very Indian. This star is made in India.

  • There are a lt of foreighners in India (Chinese, Japenase, Europeans, Americans and others) who are profeciant in Indian languages. Chan good job....

  • as a chinese, i somehow found the language is beautiful

  • Although Chang is of Chinese descent (grandparents), he is actually born and bred in India. Look him up on Wikipedia. Been on Indian TV for a few years now, since his debut on Indian Idol as a singer. Has also done a decent role in a successful Bollywood film.

  • He is so cool, he's even got the typical head shake when he talks, LOL so cool !

  • He's Punjabi ....proud of him.

  • Woo .. :O He's GREAT ! :DD

  • Our world is indeed a lovely place with people like these. There is another African who sang Mongolian Folk song. Love them all.

  • What a voice. For those who are wondering, he sang Mein Tenu Samjhawan - Rahat Fateh Ali Khan at the ending.

  • what the ? arent both of the songs (first and second) adapted from these two indonesian songs?

first song : "Kenangan Terindah" - by Samsons an indonesian band

second song: "Tak Bisakah" - by Peterpan also an indonesian band.

the first one aint exactly the same but it's identical at the chorus.

the second one is exactly the same but in different language. =,="

  • Punjabi's are proud to be Punjabi's

  • this is really great. Cultural has no boundary. Hope the Chinese media can show it to the Chinese people as well. In any case we are all brothers! Long Live Indo-Sino friendship!

  • he's handsome.

  • is he a chinese dude? where from?

  • lol

  • A real show of cultural potpourri! Love it when music brings everyone together :)

Even the song "Kya Mujhe Pyaar Hai" was adapted from "Tak Bisakah", a song from Indonesian Band, Peter Pan (Can wiki it!)

  • This is great! The Great Indian Siddhar Bhogar went to China centuries ago to teach the ancient Chinese the Siddha Tradition including the highest form of meditation which started Chan Buddhism in China which ended with the 7th Patriach, a video worth seeing if you can get hold of it! From China, it went to Japan and became Zen Buddhism with its Zen Masters etc. Of course in China Siddha Bhogar was known as Bo Yang---an avatar of Lord Shiva!

  • He's probably speechless now, with so many Indian mothers offering him their daughters' hands in marriage. :)

  • @achahei I think he is handsome too.

  • wow like that's ever gonna happen in Malaysia... cuz even some indian people are ashamed of being indian here.

  • @Dishysaini AHAHA!!!!!! Could be a fact :D
