I like airsoft because i think we have more enthusiasm than paintballers, dont get me wrong you guys might like paintballing because its more painful and it scares away the non brave little kids. its like comparing COD and battlefield. COD = Paintball and Battlefield = Airsoft. at the end they both give me the same adrenaline rush. i use to play paintball alot bought high end markers using high end paints. paints = 60-70 dollars a case of 2000. now i play airsoft. BB's =15-20 dollar a bag of 4000-5000. to me i prefer airsoft. less messy cheaper to play and more realistic. go youtube airsoft loadouts and paintball loadouts and games play them both only you can choose what you like.

Also unless your a beginner at airsoft, you normally use metal guns.Airsoft has enormous games in their countries ranging between 200 to 700 people per event. It's hard to play airsoft internationally because most foreign countries won't allow you to bring your gun into their country because they have extremely real characteristics, you don't have that problem because paintball guns are nowhere near realistic.

i like both but im WAY more into airsoft. its not as expensive and you dont NEED to have compressed air or co2. it doesnt make a mess and you can be way more tactical and have stuff that is like real life (guns, gear,etc). no hopper or co2/compressed air tank. airsoft has automatic weapons and is just better all the way. i wouldnt buy my own stuff for paintball. its more of a sports/recreational type of game where you can buy a rental kit and just play. I went paintballing a few weeks ago and there were 7 paintballers and 14 airsofters. I am a recent convert.... I find Airsoft better... just an opinion.

i like both but im WAY more into airsoft. its not as expensive and you dont NEED to have compressed air or co2. it doesnt make a mess and you can be way more tactical and have stuff that is like real life (guns, gear,etc). no hopper or co2/compressed air tank. airsoft has automatic weapons and is just better all the way. i wouldnt buy my own stuff for paintball. its more of a sports/recreational type of game where you can buy a rental kit and just play. AIRSOFT IS BETTER!!

Airsofts 20% playing the game and 80% playing dress up. I play paintball because I love the sport, not because I want to pretend I'm some important-call-of-duty-tacticool-super-soldier. And just from a game play perspective, how the heck do you know when your out with all that gear on? Layering up that much to protect yourself from tiny little BBs really makes you guys look more like pussies than soldiers.

@PlastickCCCP id take the paintball gun its smaller lighter louder and faster than any airsoft guns, also works at both longer and shorter ranges, can also be reloaded faster, also holds more shots per load, will noticeably hurt, and yes it is more expensive but all you need is a 200$ spyder and you will be set, anything higher is just for better things

Paintball is ok, but once you've played airsoft, you don't wanna go back. Airsoft is so much cooler, the guns look cooler, the uniforms are nicer.
