Adventists like Asscherick use Ellen G. White like the Orthodox use the Patristic commentary. The question is why should we believe EGW over the early Church fathers and mothers. And this notion of "going to heaven" is also contrary to the Bible, which teaches that in the age to come we will inhabit the new earth. And he shud really not be slandering monks. Most of these are godly men who devote their lives to prayer and service of others.
