ArmA2 already has the stuff from PR from BF2, so I've know idea why they want to make PR for ArmA2. At the most they could just make some missions like the stuff in PR and unit packs, maybe stuff in ACE2~~~ but thats about it.

ACE2 = PR's units and effects and stuff

ArmA2 = PR's maps and gamemodes (excepts theres only a few vanilla and tons of custom maps that are 20x the size of PR maps)

Actually, it's easier to install manually than using that updater thing. It is just like a regular mod install once you figure out where the hpp files go. Worth it.

Actually the way you are talking about is called the lazy way and with updates coming out sometimes two times a day there is no reason to manually drag and drop, with the GUI installer it auto updates the patches and is the easiest way to get ace fully working, if you listen to PvtHudson you will get a miss match version errors when your not installing updates,

Well when you fire a gun, it is not supposed to sound like ''awesome'' or ''earcandy''.

In ArmA the gunshot is what it is IRL.

It honestly sounds better in-game anyways.

I wasn't talking about how "cool" it sounded. I was talking about sound quality. Some of the gunshots in this video have a very low sample rate.

I have ACE mod now and I can hear for myself they are good in the game.

Looks tight, one complaint I have with just about every mod or game that comes out about modern warfare is that they always use the light skinned HMMWVs. Those are pretty much only used stateside now. If there's what appears to be an "x" on the door, it is old school. There needs to be good armored HMMWVs modeled. Otherwise great sim.

This mod never made much sense to me. Always seemed like a bunch of reversing design decisions that BIS made (for a reason), and just a bunch of generic missions that remove any kind of forethought from the equation in mission planning. Maybe I'm missing some things, like if the ace mod includes the ability to call in air strikes and stuff like that (but that's all available in other mods too).
