Now everyone comes to Little Italy 192 Grand Street in NYC to change the world forever from war to world peace & fantastic freedoms our founding fathers intended to have like Ron Paul, Dennis Kucinich,Mike Gravel,Al Sharpton and Cynthia Ann McKinney have always talked about.
Remember forever Jennifer Lynn Masaryk Ellis.
Dedicated to Peter Joyce & Lady Diana my dear departed friends.
There were 2 audio versions of the ending credits that were aired on Friday nights....not the one that's abbreviated from the ABC daytime shows from the early 70s. Wish someone out there who may have copies of either, or BOTH these versions would post them on here. The 1971-72 season had 8 shows, in which the shorter version was played at the end of the program.
Truer than the red white and blue. gosh darnit I can't rember the rest of the lyrics. Do you remember who did the theme song. one clue... It wasn't the partridge family...lol I was getting ready to say happy 5th, but I just looked at the clock and it's way after midnight here on the east coast... so happy 6th. =)
LOL! YOu are already on 7/6--We have less than 1/2 an hr to go here on the West Coast!! Congrats--you are the FIRST to "get" the TV show reference, "Love American Style." Sorry, I don't know who the musicians were as I was a VERY small child at the time--TRUE STORY :)
The Partridge Family TV Show was originally going to be about the amazing family music group "The Cowsills"
some of their hit songs "The rain, The Park and other things, Indian Lake, We Can Fly... and who can I forget..."HAIR" [long beautiful hair...shining, gleaming, gimmmie down to there [HAIR]shoulder length or longer... lol yes I'm a music nut. I was a Top 40 radio DJ back in the day. lolol
Yes and the Cowsills were great doing the 1st Love American Style theme, which was replaced by the Bahler brothers, Jackie Ward and Stan Farber or Ron Hicklin who were the Partridge Family vocalists backing up David Cassidy and Shirley Jones. All of them have a great sound and I miss those days!!
WHOA--I am SO impressed!! You really know your 70s songwriters. I was a FAN of the Patridge Family TV show, too :) LOL! I think David Cassidy was my "first" crush!
Yes, I had just a TOUCH of claustraphobia! I am sure most of the City of San Jose was there! The rest set of the illegal firecrackers--LOL! Did you take the light rail in?! We did!
I could not BELIEVE they STOppED the trolley service! My husband and I had to take it Downtown...We live hear TAMIEN station--we wanted to stay there and watch--but the VTA would NOT allow it!
