I read years ago the name 'Motorhead' was American slang for someone who likes to drive/ride fast - Like 'speedfreak' another MH song from Iron fist. Nowadays we might call someone 'gearhead', or petrol head. No matter, the name sort of sums it up bny the association of Motor & Head. The original suggestion was 'Bastard' a name trademarked by Ron Tree. Tried to be taken over; I believe by Courtney Love, of Hole fame.
2 dislikes... normally someone would make up some whitty rant about this, but to be honest, like most modern pop music, this could be solved with a drinkoff between them and lemmy. I know whos going to be the only one alive afterward...
wrong it was the b-side to the single leaving here there was no album leaving here.originally released in france on skydog records.it was re-recorded on their first album titled motorhead.check your facts before you post dude.
I was misinformed on the tracks origin when I posted it over two years ago. Add to that the fact I was sixteen. I wasn't a fact checker, dude. haha I'll change the info now.
That's Lemmy's 4004lk bass. If you want one, good luck, They only made a handful and they are in limited production. I think you might find one at Ed Roman guitars in Las Vegas, NV, I believe it was called. Good hunting!
Thumbs up if you have green line fever!! (Monster fever)
