Here, in Montreal, in 2011, the STM (the Montreal Transit Company abbreviated from french Société de Transport de Montréal) has finally decided to (quote) "purchase a few air-conditionned vehicle for testing purposes, and then decide if it is cost-effective enough to equipped the whole fleet" (end of quote)... Of course, they don't have to RIDE the darn thing, let alone DRIVE it all day long in 90-100 degrees heat...
