That guy who got bit by the snake (he probably woke it up from a nap or something, and it was all freaked out) may have compounded the problem by using traditional medicine instead of going to a hospital. This is a big problem in S & SE Asia, there's a lot of snakebite and a lot of people, esp. rural people are not educated about how to deal with it. They sometimes even end up making it worse by using tourniquets and things (increasing the risk that the affected limb will have to be amputated).

Trimeresurus Albolabris (white lipped pit viper), is supposed to be an easy first venomous snake to breed. when you see the size of his fangs and how fast it strikes, i really don't share this point of view. Moreover, a tree snake is very difficult to keep on a hook. Anymay, it's still a very beautiful snake.
