  • These people eat meat! Stunning!

  • In the Exodus story, the Hebrews put the blood of a lamb in the door posts and frames. The angel of the Lord would "passover" all of the houses with the blood of the lamb on it. Those that didn't have the blood were given judgment (in this story the first born was killed.)

Jesus is the passover lamb. Those that have the blood of Jesus (forgiven by God through the sacrifice of Jesus) will be saved from the judgment of God ( hell and eternal punishment).

  • Wow, very fast!!! I'd have to watch at half speed. I'm very interested in observing passover but I didn't learn much on how... or why...

  • Hag Pessah Sameah.

  • Very interesting, but do you think you could speak a little faster??

  • Happy Passover - check out our fun and inspiring Passover in Jersualem new video at EyeOnZionTV channel on youtube

  • What's up with the potato? That's a New World food. Just wondering...

  • @jfulbright We used to do is with eggs before. A common (very ancient) passover joke is that the reason to dip an egg in saltwater is to remind us the height of the seawater as the hebrews fled the Egyptian troops.

  • @TheEEStudent do you know any christians who celebrate Passover? i started reading the bible, and learned about Passover from there. and do you think everyone should celebrate Passover?

  • @lovekeyzbobo93 Its not mandatory :-). Its an holiday.

  • I don't approve of that add. YHWY is more merciful then that. You have a stronghold when you see God as a cruel taskmaster who just looking for who he can send to Hell like this "To Hell" "Next" Oh you need to go to Hell" "Next." True if your not married by Gods law you are not to live together, but all you have to do is repent, get married, and get right with God.

  • I don't know if people know this. I've been told by a pastor who has been ministered by a Rabbi. When you accept Yeshua(Jesus in English) to be your messiah, then you have been drafted in to the Jewish family. So if you say Jesus is your savior then guess what your are a Jew as well. There are actually churches that are getting the breakthrough by using Ancient Jewish Wisdom.

  • @DphL0, LOL. But at least we christians support you guys. Without us, you would be begging to have Israel back. :P

  • I always thought that the unleavened bread represented cleansing oneself from your sins. You know, because leaven sometimes signifies evil. Well, I guess I was wrong....

  • That's cool

  • there was no angel of death.

it was GOD killing everybody. and hiding behind the 'angel' he created like a big fat cowardly liar. when is every body going to stop hating each other and start hating the True cause of all the pain and suffering in the world??

    demand a better life.

  • @energycreator You have posted that same comment on lots of videos.Im not Jewish however I dont go and post comments like that on Jewish videos.Even if u don't agree or share their viewpoint I dont think u have any right to knock their faith whatsoever.Ive been studying Judaism and it's given me a lot of respect and admiration for Jews-dont knock what they believe in, how would u like it if people offended the thing that u love the most? Let them believe in what they believe and stop judging ok?

  • @WeAllLovePineapples i am jewish myself stupid. dont you get it? i am a jew and god has been affecting my whole life. but he treats like a fucking dog. and i am trying to tell other jews about it because i dont know what else i can do. this is a lie. god is a liar and an abuser and i am one of the few people on this planet who isn't afraid to say it. and i will keep on telling other jews because they all know but they dont say anything, its time for the bullshit to stop.

  • @energycreator Firstly, I am not stupid so don't you dare accuse me of being so. And I suppose that depends how you define being Jewish, if it is something that is simply passed down from your family then yes, I suppose you are. However, if it is a belief in a God and a love of him, then no your not.

As a Christian, I believe in God and therefore would say believing in God is not "bullshit" or "a lie" - it is faith. Your entitled to your own viewpoint but other people are entitled to theirs.

  • I am a Jew

  • @AnnoyingNerd Me too :D

  • @AnnoyingNerd do you know any christians who celebrate Passover? i started reading the bible, and learned about Passover from there. and do you think everyone should celebrate Passover?

  • @AnnoyingNerd Congratulations

  • Very enlightening! While I'm a Seventh Day Adventist I've found learning about the Jewish roots of our faith to be very interesting.

  • There is no Archeological Evidence for the Passover and Exodus! Its just a Myth!

  • SHALOM,SHALOM! Thank you Stephen.. ALEKSANDORA

  • Thankfulness can cure what ails you:) Lord, I am thankful for just Who You Are!! Shalom!

  • Awesomeness! Thanks Guys! Happy Passover in Jeshua! Love&Shalom! Smooth

  • all i knew that jews were slaves for the ancient egyptians nothing more

and the pharoah ramses II killed thier sons

cuz he didn't need a boy to dethrone him

until moses showed up .. ah. u know the rest

  • This is very enlightening. I am a Christian, but I have been studying Judaism for a little while. Happy Easter and Passover everyone!

  • True Christians believe the 15th of Nisan is the first day of unleavened bread and the day time portion of Passover is on the 14th of Nisan "Leviticus 23:5".The night time portion thereof was at even the day before, dusk, sundown on the 13th?Because the days always start at sundown the day before. The sundown, at even of the 14th is the Night to be much observed.Read (Psalm 111:10)

  • @ARPinBC leviticus

  • yup thats it thanks

  • Leviticos

  • Over the years we have all been lied to by many false Religous Leaders and so called prophets. Many things we have been taught are not even in Scripture and millions have swallowed so many lies by these false leaders. If you are a truth seeker please visit the web site which is displayed in our user name and take the time to read some of the articles... You will be very shocked.

There is a great audio there for you to listen to. You will come away asking many questions.

    Blessings

    Thanks Ben

  • Jesus said that there will be many false teachers who will say many fase things in the future. Many will come in his name, but will be a wolf in sheep's clothing. He said he was telling us in advance, so that we will not be surprised. If you are a truth seeker, why not go to the source which is in the bible. Jesus said that if you stay in his word, you will not be easily swayed by false teaching.

  • what you are sayiing has nothing to do with this video, you may need to undestand betther about the wath is false teaching. The lady is saying a interpretation from the bible to the creation of the jewish tradition she is not teaching the Word of the lord, simple she is teaching how to undestand the Jewish tradition....regards....May G-D blessing you so all Jewish People...Shalom

  • It's my favorite holiday :)

man what wrong with you people??

you have to ruin everything about Israel or Jews??

    Get a life you dikcheads!!!!

  • lol, hell

  • Arggh!

Great video explaining passover briefly but i can't stand the fact that she says "erbs". It has an H in it!!

  • I agree. I seem to notice when folk drop "h"s. It's a stupid "rule" of English grammar that ruins the flow of speech and grates on the eardrum.Metaphorically, of course. Apart from that I found it a useful informative vid.

  • I feel like such a meaningful idea should not be summarized in 2 minutes on such a simplified level, but I guess a person can't expect more in 2 minutes.

  • This kind of superstitious practice reminds me of the catholic's practice too, especially the Easter egg hunt.

  • yayayay

    jews!!!!!

    gotta love the jews

    ahaa :]

  • is it just me, or is she kinda hot?

  • It's pronounced Hagada.

    You talk really fast.. x_x

  • WANT THE TRUTH?,./ republicbroadcastingdotorg,./;infowarsdotcom

  • whoaaaaaaaaaaaaaa Rebecca....slow it down girl!!!!

my ears cannot wag as fast as your mouth travels (would be much more interesting if you'd speak more humanly....slower and with clarity please)

  • not bad, but a few minor points that should have been clarified. Israelis traditionally only have 1 seder; anyone living in the Diaspora (aka outside of Israel) has 2 as a safety to ensure that at least one of them falls on the correct day (b/c of the whole timezone issue). The focal point of Pesach, which is the consumption of Matzah instead of regular bread, was only very briefly explained. Also, Hagadah is pronounced incorrectly, but thats not a biggie.

  • break ignorance and peace will conquer, bravo mojo.
