  • how many weeks do you continue this routine before moving to level 2?

  • I believe I have overworked my biceps compared to the rest of my body. I can do 30+ curls no problem with 20 or 35 lb weights. But for some reason I can't do even 5 shoulder presses with 10 lb weights

  • Crunches not sit ups

  • i like. bravo.

  • @avedisphoto1 Is this only to loose weight or also to build some muscles?. I am 1,86 M and 74 kg and I do not want to loose more weight . I want to know that this exercise set is ok for me to perform.

  • Thanks steve i will try that, except not getting on the floor lol.

  • Nice simple, but effective circuit. I use both that you have placed on youtube. Thanks for the free circuit training advice.

  • @BodyPerformanceTV steve if you learn lots of what you know from books could you tell me the name of those books so i can find and read them to learn some of this stuff like you, not trying to become a expert but just you know some information. also if theres websites could you share some of them with me please?

  • @al17di Smart Exercie by Covert Bailey is a great resource for understanding weight loss.

  • Do you take any breaks in between after completing each circuits ?

  • @sadboy89 You certainly can if you want. As you get stronger you may need a shorter break of no break.

  • @BodyPerformanceTV

tried it this afternoon it was a great work out haha =D

  • uhmm. i have a question, is having a break between every exercises not advisable? like bench press ~break 5 mins~ tricep extensions ~break 5 mins~ shoulder press ~break 5 mins~ so on. sorry.m new to home exercises, i just brought 1pc 10lbs weights :O is this enough? or should i buy 2?

  • @seanlolsean I answered your question on my 5-26-10 BlogTalkRadio show. Go to BlogTalkRadio and search Steve Turano. The show can also be downloaded from iTunes. The most recent shows can also be heard on my website home page (at the bottom) once it uploads. Tell a friend! ~Steve

  • @BodyPerformanceTV

thank you! m doing this exercise for already a week and i feel somewhat buffed.lol.anyways, i got another question, does this exercise will make my chest pumped like other big chested dudes?

  • @seanlolsean It will be a good start! Home Exercise Program - Level 2!

  • Is it good to use different dumbbells for different exercises ? I lost 25 pounds over the last 35 weeks ( little less than one pound a week ) by just eating 200 calories less and 200 calories cardio, but work more on my strength now. Dumbbell chest press I can do 30 pounds dumbbells in each hand, but with tricep extension I can only do 15 pound dumbbell so I usually quickly change thae 30 lbs for the 15 lbs and continue with those. DOes that screw up my work out changing the dumbbell weights ?

  • yes, use different dumbbells for different exercises since certain muscles are stronger or weaker than one another. a good idea is to get adjustable dumbbells. walmart sells dumbbell handles for 5 bucks each, and u can find cheap weight plates off of craigslist, make sure u get standard 1 inch plates though

  • @layzie187x

Thank you for your information. I always thought using different weights for different musclesi n a circuit training is bad, but it makes sense since my shoulders are stronger than my biceps. I bought a used dumbbell set.

  • For this exercise program and the more advanced version, what weight of dumbbells should a person use?

    Thanks Steve.

  • how long should i continue doing thise same routine, and should i change it a week? please hit me up

  • sexy musculos !!

  • Thats not going to do anything, you need to arch your back more

  • how much do those weight?

  • she is HOT

  • Great stuff guys. This is exactly what I've been looking for.

  • Thanks!

  • nice stuff

  • 1:20 to 1:33 what do they work on? please reply

  • Love your body!

  • You can make some noticeable changes by May if you stick with it. She also runs as well so you should do cardio 3-4 times a week. There is also a Level 2 program.

  • thank you very much.... I really love them all . thanks for posting :)

  • My pleasure! More exercises on my website.

  • I have a wedding in the last week of may , if i start doing these everyday will I be as fit as ur sister??? By the way my eating has been very healthy ,its just the Exercises is what i hate doing and AM NOT doing yet ...SO this vid inspired me to all the things u can do in gym without the expense..THANKS<<<

  • Thanks! It's P90X but for free!

  • awesome! you rock steveeeee!

  • i wonder steve if your influenced her to workout..

  • "hippopcrazy" did you mean, Stevie Wonder maybe?

Lol. Because he wont be influenced, you know, he is blind..

  • I've been doing all of these exercises 25 times everyday for 3 days. I love it. Thanks!

  • Has it worked for you? If it did then that's great!

  • yeah, thats helpfull stuff Steve ty

  • 1:52 can be a funny grouo exercise x)... joke... thanks for the tips :P

  • Yes. Complete 3-5 circuits as one workout. Start out with 3 circuits just to see how sore you become. Once you are no longer sore you can increase the number of circuits, weights, and or reps. You can then also begin doing the workout every day or can then switch to level 2. I just want you to become familiar with the exercises as well as determine your fitness and soreness levels first.

  • Question, so we do this circuit 3-5 times a day. After we finish a circuit how long should we rest before proceeding to the next circuit run? Also how often should these be done for a beginner, everyday or every other day? Lastly, when do we switch to your level 2, when we finished the routine for about a few weeks or whenever we feel like it?

  • My sister.

  • Rest as little or as much as you need to then get through the next set. The heavier the dumbbells the more intense the circuit and the more rest you will need.

  • do i have to buy new weighs all the time to get stronger each time what do u recommend how long do i stay with one set of dumbells

  • get adjustable weight dumbbells man. I had to buy a new set after losing em or someone stole em and walmart has great ones at a great price.

  • No rest between exercises, but is it ok to rest between circuits? If so for how long?

  • Steve should be an authority figure who influences the P.E. in U.S schools. He knows his stuff and sure enough I bet he'd set the ball rolling, for the future health of his nation.

  • @mlh8723 no. teens dumb enough to get fat and think its ok, would not listen to any authority figure.

  • now that's what a women should look like, none of this pro ana crap, or body building women.

  • "now that's what a women should look like, none of this pro ana crap, or body building women. "

    Let me second that.

  • his sister you fuckin dumbass!!!!

  • i love your body!!!

  • how many times should i do this

  • thank you so much for this video! i have never worked out in my own home and its been years since i had any sort of workout routine. gyms are so expensive and i need to do something. this is exactly what i need! THANK YOU!!!!

  • listen to the very first sentence...

  • is it okay if I do the bench presses on my bed? Or do I have to lie on the ground?

  • ground, the bed bends too much you wont get a proper workout.

  • I'm told that it is extremely important to keep your heels on the ground when doing squats! Comments?

  • Yes it's important because you want to learn correct form. It's not so important when you do low weights like on the video, but if you're going to do heavy squats you want to make sure you have perfect form without weights first, otherwise you might hurt yourself. They should caution about this..

  • Your body tells you what is right, it might sound corny, but just learn to listen to your body. Suggestions on this, not really, but maybe just try to feel what muscles are working.

  • jaja XD

  • lol

  • Dude your sis hot!

  • This has helped me a lot with excercising! It's much easier to go online and look this up instead of paying for workout tapes! Thanks so much for posting this!!!

  • pretty good

  • very helpful thanks

  • she is a fucking goddes.

  • I m in love.

  • those weights are not gona do shite, they are way to light, look how easily her movements are.

  • Yeah, her arms look awful. /sarcasm Where do you people come from?

  • yay

  • I've started doing these exercises recently (past 3 weeks) and can definitely tell/feel the difference. I have 2 questions.

    1. Is there a rest in between circuits?

    2. Can you recommend a good stretching routine to do prior to the workout?

Thanks for the videos. They've given me a new perspective on weight loss and exercise.

  • THANK YOU! I am a 31 year old mom of 3 and I work out in a gym but I feel so inept doing a lot of stuff since I don't know if I am doing it correctly or not. But now I am watching this video and I can do it the right way! So thank you for teaching me!

  • shouldnt lock ur elbows! u can give urself an injury!!!

  • ur sister? lol

  • I feel it in my knees if my heals come off the floor.

  • Comment removed

  • It really makes no difference in development or effectiveness. Personal trainers will tell people don't go up on your toes, as if it mattered. At the same time they'll have clients standing on stability balls trying to get them to perform squat!

  • dude i want2 do ur sister lol she's hot:)

  • I'll let her know.

  • I'm only a high school student, but I know what I'm talking about when I see mistakes with technique

    1) 53 sec - Keep you Back Straight

    2) 1:21 sec - Keep your Knees behind your feet at a 90 degree (difficult but that is how it should be done.

Other than that, It's all Good

  • pretty sister! :D lol

  • how many times should that sequence be repeated (5?) and how much rest time in between each set/sequence? thanks

  • It can be done as many times as you like. I would start with 2 or 3 circuots if you've just started working out. You should go from one exercise to another with out any rest and then rest 2 minutes between circuits.

  • Please do a video that will explain to all these girls who are starving and fasting that they will not lose weight, they'll just lose their minds.

  • im really happy i found this

  • thnx dude

  • I was just wondering is there certain shoes that are good for working out... thx

  • If you're just lifting weights wear whatever's comfortable.

  • cheers guys :)

  • ur sister is very attractive

  • I'll let her know!

  • This is fantastic....thank you for posting these videos. Whenever you post a new video, you motivate me to get out there and exercise :)

  • luvin it

  • Your sister is pretty :] It's really great that you two are so active, I'm jealous >_> but trying hard to be like that too!

  • Persistence, faith, and discipline. And it will happen.

  • thank you :]

  • That is amazingly useful to me, especially the leg exercises and how to do the situps properly. I have just been running up stairs like crazy for legs and my situps have been mega hard for my back (which means I haven't been doing them right). Thanks ALOT for this man!

  • Aways glad to help. More on the way.

  • This is really amazing Steven. Thank you for taking the time to do this.

  • No idea why I typed Steven...

  • Awesome thanks for the helpful tips to work at home

  • Great way to get started not my level but great way for a bigginer im going to have my Cousin wife see this.. nice to see your sister also.. keep up the Great WOrk =)

  • I'm a 331lb male, 5'7" who has lost about 145 lbs over the course of the last year. I recently bought a home gym, free weight set that has just about everything you could imagine. Only thing it doesn't have is squat rack. All olypmic barbells, dumbells etc so i'm not really limited on what I can do. The problem is I don't really know where to start and it's very intimidating looking at all the different options not knowing which is right for me.

  • I would really like to incorporate weight lifting into my routine which now consists of walking 30 - 60 minutes 5 days a week. Any tips or a point in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

I just found you tonight and I have to say that all of your videos are very very appreciated. Thank you so much for caring and helping others!

  • I have to apologize but because I have so much information to offer about working out it would be very difficult to cover it in the space provided. I will be offering an e-book on weight loss in a few weeks on my website. I will also be including workouts for men and women with the book. Please check my website in a few weeks. Thanks!

  • Will do, thanks.

  • how old is ur sister sara

  • Lea is 35 y/o.

  • heh... cool

Is fitness like a family theme or something.

thanx for yet another great vid
