personally idc i just want them to make it, idc if its exactly like ssb ill be fine with no blood and such, idc if sacboy can beat goku or krato who gives a flying fuck its a game they can do whatvr they want, have u played D.O.N??? Honestly the most fun ive had playing a game its a ssb clone for sony from one piece, dbz, and naruto and it fuckin rocked!!!! who gives a fuck about the rating idc, and the people dont care, they just want the game
yes make it rated M. i am getting sick of hearing about rated t and rated e games. sony needs to start making rated A and rated M titles in genre because they would make a killing in profit. there are millions of nerds surfing the web for good hentai games.
@haloteen100 Well SSB is the worst fighter I've ever played. People only play it cuz of the characters, the game play is worst then a DBZ game. If Sony's game plays like that then it will suck.
@DevastatorsPissed1 i hate fast type fighting arcade games! you have to spam to win. i have marvel vs capcom3 i have to spam to win, im skinny and i always breaking sweats. i rather relax and play normal fighting games like mortal kombat or supersmash bros brawl, thats my oppinion
I wont mind if there isnt blood, SSB is really fun and well done. which is what i expect from sony to make it well done indeed fun to play and adicting.
Keep looking forward to more information on Title Fight from Paul Gale Network in the future, but in the meantime, thanks for your opinions on the game.
text is also good for imagination, that's also proven fact, like how a person reads a book and imagines character voices. But the tradeoff is the lack of certain emotional effects with voices, but at the same time that's not the problem with good writing, like in zelda games.
it is scientifically proven that VA over text in films makes the viewer more passive and lazy and brain activity drops a fair bit, soooooooo... I'm not sure if that also applies to games, but i kinda feel that when a game overall feels very "movie-like", I sort of get pretty bored with it, no matter how many explosions or whatever.
I got that a lot actually with uncharted and the assassin games.
Regarding the Sony Smash Bros. knock-off... I'll just play the real thing: Smash Bros. Just like I'd play Mario Kart over Modnation Racers. I doubt the Sony SMS clone will have the same charm or depth.
It doesn't make you any less of a gamer to like voice acting. However, your affection for it has nothing to do with how grown-up or "mature" you are either. I like voice acting, but not everything needs it.
@generalthedestroyer I whole heartedly agree with you. When BioWare announced that Star Wars The Old Republic was going to be fully voiced I was intrigued to see how it would turn out. This past weekend when I participated in the final beta phase for SWtoR I was FULLY drawn into the game cause everything even quest were voiced. Like you said if voice acting is done right it can make a game enjoyable and BioWare did an amazing job. So yeah voice acting CAN be a good thing if done correctly.
Personally i thought dead space 2 was ruined because they gave isaac clark a voice. Voice acting can ruin a perception of a character(they made him sound like a puzzy). Personally i thought clark's silence added to the tension of dead space 1.
@birddogg62 Word. Completely agreed. Plus, the story was kinda shit as well. I didn't get the same sense of isolation or immersion into the character and the goings on as I did with the original Dead Space.
Well the T rating is what they're gonna go for, and in my opinion, thats the only smart choice. that being said, blood and gore shouldn't be the deciding factor between a great or shitty game. brawl was fantastic without any of that. and this game could totally suck with or without it.
i consider a hardcore gamer someone that knows a good amount about video games and isnt ignorant to different genres. ie, people that say cod is the greatest game ever made
For the Sony Smash-bros thing, they're not going to make it a M game. If they did, no one would play as Sack boy, Sly cooper, etc.
For voice acting, it should be there for big-title games. I think Skyward Sword would've been better with voices for NPCs. Basically all the NPCs are new characters, so giving them voices wouldn't have hurt. However, giving Link a voice is a different story.....
The game needs blood and gore to be good? Says the guy playing Sonic....
How about we wait and see what Sony is going to do with this game before jumping to conclusions? If it turns out shitty then oh well, shitty game. If it turns out good then okay, good game.
A bunch of Sony charachters all thrown together in a fighting game? Sounds like a bunch of fanboy appeasing fluff to me. Either way...I'm not buying it.
While I don't feel Voice Acting is needed, It certainly does add to the experience, as much as I love nintendo, they can add voice acting to there games. there really is no reason not to. as for whoever said that... they really don't know what hardcore gaming is at all.
I'm more concerned about the gameplay than whether they'll make this a cartoony unrealistic game. Because if they did make it realistic, like you said, it wouldn't be much of a contest for characters like Cole, Kratos, Sweet-tooth and even Jak (if he has a dark mode, anyway).
why is this not a video response to me? and im recently 18. btw. why ar eyou trying to take my video and the stuff i said out of context? when did i ever say that you are a casual gamer if you like voice acting? like come on man. i like voice acting. but like i said in my video some games shouldnt have it. or would be better without it. when i mentioned casual gamers i was bringing up the gamers that only care for the movie like experience.
@gamereviewsss I don't think there's that many people who only care for a movie-like experience. Some games really benefit with that movie-like feeling(ie: Uncharted, Shenmue, Heavy Rain, etc.)
@THEKING1300 there are quite a lot of people that are all for the interactive movie type game. and like i said in my video yes some games do really benefit from it, and some dont
Sackboy doesn't have to be in... Although I wouldnt mind a T or E rating there is also the possiblity that they drop some characters and represent them via stages, items, references, etc.
one question.. if im a person who cant buy every game that comes out, but i love to mostly play the games i grew up with, does that make me casual? i mean i love to adapt to new games/genres when i see them, but just the ones i like.
I think people are afraid that voice acting will be bad. They had voice acting in Metroid and both are good, but as I'm sure you know, people didn't like Samus talking... The voice acting in Corruption was good. I think that they should just keep the main character silent.
honeslty i believe it will be for the move. yes it will look like ssbb and will look pretty wack. if you ask me, i would put it in 3d with bomb ass graphics. make it look like im playing gow or uncharted and it's in a arena. mostly make it look like uncharted fighting style cause uncharted 3 fighting style from the story was amazing. what do you think?
@haloteen100 ummm... I didn't judge the game. I stated my opinion on what the game should have and what it has a possibility of being like... Not really judging lmfao
I knew about this for over a month now and ign is just not getting the information, the guy use to give alot of hints at the game and even just showed plain development of it
and i def care about voice acting. helps the story out and makes you connect to the characters more. otherwise they might as well be just stick figures
yea pretty obvious they gonna make it for a general audience. and idk but they will probably are gonna make the characters somewhat equal in a sense. but they said the characters will look like themself. i dont expect a whole bunch of blood and gore cuz most fighting games dont even have that. i think it should be right down the middle. i still hope they keep kratos true to himself and still performing fatalities and i believe cole should be performing these crazy electric terrifying attacks
I think sony could make a mature title without having to make its realistic in a way that nobody can beat kratos. I mean hell in MVC3 you can beat up the hulk with a defense attorney.
