The man on the bike was obviously doing something wrong and was running from police. if the man was riding his bike as fast as the people make it seem and the cop was right behind him then it makes sense that when he fell the cop didn't stop in time. Even if the cop had stopped sooner he would have had the man trapped under his car so why not just keep going. It would result in the same thing either way. If he was on top of him he could only go backward or forward.

Look up "sneak and peek warrant" and "no knock warrant" on Wikipedia. You're not even safe in your own home sleeping at night at 3am, which is when they always strike. The kid know how to handle his bike didn't you hear the girl say he was going super fast on the bike. Sounds like he was pretty good to me and the cop became desperate because his aim with the taser gun missed so he got mad and ran the kid over. The car is just to be use to for car chases, or arriving at the scene or roadblocks not run over 16 yr kid you fat cop.
The cop was too fat to run so he ran the kid over. The car didn't fall if you heard the female witness she said the cop's car brushed up against the bike and that's what made the kid fall under the car. Whether or not he intentional tried to run him over by getting too close to the kid enough to knock him off his bike the kid is now died a direct result from the officer's action. The kid did not fall off by himself. He probably was an street kid who is does tricks on his bike
The cop should not have used a 2 ton car to pursue a suspect on a bike! It's another case of overkill. What was a minor offense that could have been taken care of at a later date was made into an unneeded chase involving high risk to all involved and innocent bystanders as well. The suspects life was worth more than the initial damages of the alleged crime.

First, from what the video and the witness stated, the biker was fleeing the cop. He fell off his bike and in the path of the cruiser, which could not stop in time to prevent rolling over him. This is not murder. This is the accidental death of an idiot bicyclist who was fleeing, for whatever reason, from an officer.

There are bad cops. There are downright corrupt cops. And there are good cops. Something that irritates me is people who make all cops out to be the "downright corrupt" type. This particular officer made bad decisions which led to the death of an individual. Then he panicked and threatened to confiscate footage. That's bad cop, not downright corrupt cop. The police officer broke several laws to catch the boy, and risked many pedestrian lives. The boy probably ran because he had a gun in his pocket. Even the officer's chief said the police officer was at fault.

The kid know how to handle his bike didn't you hear the girl say he was going super fast on the bike. Sounds like he was pretty good to me and the cop became desperate because his aim with the taser gun missed so he got mad and ran the kid over. The cop was too fat to run so he ran the kid over. The car didn't fall if you heard the female witness she said the cop's car brushed up against the bike and that's what made the kid fall under the car. Whether or not he intentional tried to run him over by getting too close to the kid enough to knock him off his bike the kid is now died a direct result from the officer's action. The kid did not fall off by himself. He probably was an street kid who is does tricks on his bike

The cop should not have used a 2 ton car to pursue a suspect on a bike! It's another case of overkill. What was a minor offense that could have been taken care of at a later date was made into an unneeded chase involving high risk to all involved and innocent bystanders as well. The suspects life was worth more than the initial damages of the alleged crime.

"POLICE MURDER TEEN" No the cop accidently ran him over how ever he did not act in the appropriate manor and thats what got him in trouble had he simply called for an ambulance and tried to help the boy there would be no crime since theres not alot you can do about someone jumping infront of your car. And to be honest had the man simply stoped as the cop had asked him to he probably would have gotten off scott free since the police can't search you without a warrant or probable cause.

@Pax00Imperium I never said he wasn't reponsible for it I said it wasn't murder it was an accident. He didn't intentionally run over the poor kid. If he was charged with anything it would be vehicular manslaughter, though I doubt he was I mean there wasn't much he could do to avoid him.

It's already illegal to record a policeman in several states under the bullshit guise of it "interfering with police investigation". It will be illegal in all 50 states within the next couple of years. Make no mistake. The entire United States is one giant police state. It's only going to get worse. This country will either get fed up and rise to the challenge like Egypt or it will crumble and completely submit to this growing injustice.
