@fivetenagain I don't know off the top of my head but I can check the next time I get it out. I do know it mas made in France in the early 70s and that I am the first person to actually use it.
@Alex4surf Oh, I knew that it was French, to my knowledge VAR was the first manufacturer of bicycle specific tools. This stand was my dad's, he was a bike mechanic back in the 70s so I have access to all his old tools.

@fivetenagain I looked all over the truing stand and the only markings I've been able to find are "VAR" cast into the base.
