if you wanna see something more realistic about the REAL MARTIAL ARTS, I suggest you check out some combat with some REAL WEAPONS. Katana, Escrima, The Chinese staff. These guys would rarely go at hand to hand buddy.

The only thing Rampage has on Chuck is youth and maybe a wee little bit stonger. Chuck is a better fighter, most MMA experts agree! Rampage's punches just look like they pack a little more. Chuck is very good about staying off the ground and I hardly think he was in his prime in their last encounter. I want Chuck to win and think he deserves it but it could go either way. But I do agree, Rampage cant handle high knees, but Chuck dosent have 'em.

And 247Cerberus, Chuck is actually fighting someone with a chin, it will take more than 1 punch to KO Rampage and Rampage has excellent striking defense for puches, however Cuck does not. Chuck blocks punches with his face. HIs stance is flat and wide, he keeps his hands up and out and counter punches. That works well when you face opponents that don't have any power in their hands, Rampage unfortunately for Chuck, does.

I think Rampage will pull it off. Rampage is better since the first fight, and his style is exactly what beats Chuck Liddell. Since then Chuck hasn't faught a guy who aggressively will be in his face and capitolize on his openings, and has as good a chin if not better then he has and who hits as hard as Rampage.

I don't know if Rampage will pull this one off. He wasn't looking too good in his fight with Eastman... looked to be rocked several times. I think he was fighting in panic mode and got lucky (like Kevin Randleman when he beat CroCop). But then again Liddell looked to be fighting that way in his rematch with Couture.

i dont think liddel has had a cake walk. he has beaten guys like couture and freaking belfort. belfort is a monster and can take anybody. Jackson's advantage lies in his ability to press the fight consistently, expecially in a round half as long as what he's used to. In order for him to win this fight he needs to not panic, feel out chuck's range and then push push push, don't let chuck get a chance to throw that over hand right he loves and dont get hooked once in close. If Jackson keeps underhooking and bear hugging chuck, the fight will go to the ground, and thats where Quinton can dominate chuck.
With someone a lot stronger than Chuck like Rampage, he is going to have to make him back off somehow. If Rampage is moving forward against Lidell the whole time, he's not going to be able to outlet any power in his striking, and will be murdered on the ground unless Chuck gets lucky with a submission. Also Lidell should work on some precision training so he can maybe catch rampage in the first couple exchanges of each round to throw him off his game or perhaps a KO.
Fighters who have tried to take Liddell down and FAILED: Tito, Murilo Bustamante, Babalu, Couture (the last 2 times), Jeremy Horn, Randleman. They punch because taking Chuck down is VERY hard and could lead to a KO knee if done wrong. Liddell is extremely tough. Only jealous haters don't at least respect Liddell. Wanderlei, by comparison, has had some intentionally cakewalk fights that have made him look awesome, no disrespect to Wandy though.
I do like liddel but you probably watch only UFC. If you have paying attention and watched K1 or pride and watched rampage fight you wouldnt be biased like you are with liddell. look at Butterbean, he fights in pride and made Cabbage quit on his stool. Heavyweight Tim Sylvia couldnt stop him does that make butterbean better? no. styles make fights and thats why rampage style will still beat liddell.
liddell has had cakewalk fights also, actualy i think most of his fights are "cakewalk" because imo before the ufc signed rampage and cro cop liddell was being a big fish in a small pond.

I see him laying on lidell for 2 rounds and winning without doing much, then lidell getting the better of the next two rounds on the feet (but not causing any damage) and in the 5th i see rampage clinching up and taking him down atleast twice and holding him down as long as he can and squeaking it out. lidell has gas issues, as does rampage but rampage is less relient on stopping the fight to get a win. so again rampage 10 10 9 9 10 lidell 9 9 10 10 9.

If all of you would look closely at the fight, it looks staged to set up for the bigger 2nd fight.
Chuck's taken a lot harder hit than that and hasn't hurt him. Liddell got hit, paused and then decided to fall.
Rampage then didn't come down on him hard like he could have.
Too quick, too easy .
Maybe next fight will be real.
The previous fights, the boys took a beaten in the head and didn't fall, Look at this on again, you'll see.

The only thing Rampage has on Chuck is youth and maybe a wee little bit stonger. Chuck is a better fighter, most MMA experts agree! Rampage's punches just look like they pack a little more. Chuck is very good about staying off the ground and I hardly think he was in his prime in their last encounter. I want Chuck to win and think he deserves it but it could go either way. But I do agree, Rampage cant handle high knees, but Chuck dosent have 'em.

Chuck is actually the fovorite via Vegas spread. And 247Cerberus, Chuck is actually fighting someone with a chin, it will take more than 1 punch to KO Rampage and Rampage has excellent striking defense for puches, however Cuck does not. Chuck blocks punches with his face. HIs stance is flat and wide, he keeps his hands up and out and counter punches. That works well when you face opponents that don't have any power in their hands, Rampage unfortunately for Chuck, does.

I think Rampage will pull it off. Rampage is better since the first fight, and his style is exactly what beats Chuck Liddell. Since then Chuck hasn't faught a guy who aggressively will be in his face and capitolize on his openings, and has as good a chin if not better then he has and who hits as hard as Rampage.

I don't know if Rampage will pull this one off. He wasn't looking too good in his fight with Eastman... looked to be rocked several times. I think he was fighting in panic mode and got lucky (like Kevin Randleman when he beat CroCop). But then again Liddell looked to be fighting that way in his rematch with Couture.
I think it'll be a decision to Chuck. Unless he learns to use knees and more kicks... then it'll be pretty much a sure victory to Liddell.

Jackson's advantage lies in his ability to press the fight consistently, expecially in a round half as long as what he's used to. In order for him to win this fight he needs to not panic, feel out chuck's range and then push push push, don't let chuck get a chance to throw that over hand right he loves and dont get hooked once in close. If Jackson keeps underhooking and bear hugging chuck, the fight will go to the ground, and thats where Quinton can dominate chuck.

With someone a lot stronger than Chuck like Rampage, he is going to have to make him back off somehow. If Rampage is moving forward against Lidell the whole time, he's not going to be able to outlet any power in his striking, and will be murdered on the ground unless Chuck gets lucky with a submission. Also Lidell should work on some precision training so he can maybe catch rampage in the first couple exchanges of each round to throw him off his game or perhaps a KO.

Fighters who have tried to take Liddell down and FAILED: Tito, Murilo Bustamante, Babalu, Couture (the last 2 times), Jeremy Horn, Randleman. They punch because taking Chuck down is VERY hard and could lead to a KO knee if done wrong. Liddell is extremely tough. Only jealous haters don't at least respect Liddell. Wanderlei, by comparison, has had some intentionally cakewalk fights that have made him look awesome, no disrespect to Wandy though.

I do like liddel but you probably watch only UFC. If you have paying attention and watched K1 or pride and watched rampage fight you wouldnt be biased like you are with liddell. look at Butterbean, he fights in pride and made Cabbage quit on his stool. Heavyweight Tim Sylvia couldnt stop him does that make butterbean better? no. styles make fights and thats why rampage style will still beat liddell.

rampage won't stop lidell. I see him laying on lidell for 2 rounds and winning without doing much, then lidell getting the better of the next two rounds on the feet (but not causing any damage) and in the 5th i see rampage clinching up and taking him down atleast twice and holding him down as long as he can and squeaking it out. lidell has gas issues, as does rampage but rampage is less relient on stopping the fight to get a win. so again rampage 10 10 9 9 10 lidell 9 9 10 10 9.
