Also front and rear bumpers as well as the doors had that rubber band all around. The new one has those bars painted in body color as well as a dash of chrome. Look at the doors and the bumpers, they have chrome dashes all around. Search for an old one, they have black rubber bands.

By the way, they ain't LEDs. They are common 21 watt dipole lights behind a square tiled plastic. It looks quite cool. I know because I own a 607 and I've changed them many times. The front ones are H1 and H7 ;-)

@dario250hp Thank you for your comments! But who said anything about LEDs on this car, I can't find any. If you reread my own comments I only write about the LACK of LEDs on this car, not the presence of LEDs. The lights that you are referring to must be the fog lights in the grill which are of course not LEDs nor are they flashing.

That meant a loger bodywork and a bigger mouth. If you check the lower "lip" of the grill, it's much much wider (or taller) than in older 607s. The color of the car is the pearly dark gray that was made available alongside with the pearly white in 2004 when the restyle came. The fog lights are chrome and it has a chrome bar, also showing it's a restyled one. And it has the new 18 inch rims that were made available. The old one only had 16 inch wheels and a 12-spoke 17 inch wheel.

Hi. I haven't read the comments, so maybe it has been already answered. The old 607 had a tighter front grill, it was more well proportioned. And had plastic front fog lights. Also there wasn't a pearl dark gray - black color available. The new 607 had a larger 3.0 V6 engine (in size, not in capacity) with extra parts that allowed for 12 extra hp, and a new large 2.7 V6 biturbo engine, and both needed extra room under the hood.

C'est pas le SPHP, j'en suis sûr! Elle sont bien mieux leurs 607 niveau éclairage et je crois pas qu'il y ai le "police" sur le par-soleil mais plutôt "voiture officiel" (déjà croisé).

@061zgz SPHP are the police who guard the President of France as well as other dignitaries and high level visitors. They are the equivalent of the US Secret Service in their duties to protect the President of the United States.
