Mick Foley is definately the most underrated wrestler of all time he is the man responsible for making guys like the undertaker, the rock, triple h, randy orton, and edge into great wwe superstars. you can tell he really loves the business whenever he puts his body on the line and delivers great passionate promos. Simply Foley is God.

Austin may've worked with a broken neck & HHH may've torn a quad or two, but Foley's worked with a tooth knocked through his nose, a missing ear, multiple concussions, a discolated shoulder, bruised kidneys, & several other serious injuries, from such dangerous matches as your regular no DQ hardcore/extreme match with barbwire & other weapons, the Hell in the Cell (the match he & 'Taker invented [for 'Taker worked with a broken foot in that match]), Japanese Deathmatches with explosives, etc.

My favourite Mick Foley moment was when he went on the Daily Show.. In the show, he "called out" these school bullies that were harassing this poor weak kid at school. Even though, both his characters and his image might appeared ROUGH.. On the inside, he seems to be a peaceful and overall GREAT HUMAN BEING,,,,,

when i was young i used to think WWF were just torturing Mick and not using him for anything. now i'm older I realise he was the greatest enhancement talent they ever had. he could take a beating that would destroy most normal guys just to make his opponent look as tough and as badass as possible. he was never meant to win titles, he was there to put other guys over in the way only he could ever do.

I always felt sorry for Mick, because it looked like WWF/WWE wasn't ever using him to the fullest extent. He is a great wrestler but they just made him look a bit of an idiot, they never really gave him the championship push he deserved, even though he took so many risks for them.

Dude, Mick himself didn't think he was championship material, he even says so in, "Have a Nice Day" but the wwf put the strap on him anyway. 9/10 of the things Mick did on T.V. weren't even discussed with Vince until after the match was over. Mick was allowed complete in ring freedom almost two months in WWF.

The fact that the undertaker is being interviewed out of character is a testament to the respect he has for Mick. He wasnt even shown out of character on tv for Flairs farwell and he's never in the audience at the Hall of Fame

@cole003f Umm, A broken neck is a SERIOUS injury. Austin risked paralyzing himself for the match. Not taking away from Foley, but he never broke his neck and finished a match.

Except Foley wasn't seriously injured from those maneuvers. I guarantee if he had broken his neck on either of those falls he would not have gotten up. You are NOT supposed to move with a broken neck, especially when you can't feel your limbs. Also, the top of the cage is only 16 feet, and the chokeslam through the cage was admitted by Foley to have been planned. Sorry, but a separated shoulder a missing tooth, and a concussion is not as bad as a broken neck dude.

He's still a soldier though.

Austin because he wrestled nearly a year with pins and needles holding his neck together. michaels because, well just look at what he did at wm 14 with a broken back.
