@kidchino2 If you're talking about Ranmaru, then he was killed at Honnoji along with Nohime and Nobunaga (the first time around). The canon murderer varies between Mitsuhide and Oichi, but I think for this game it was Mitsuhide.

Musashi appeared in the anime so he's not gone forever, he'll probably turn up again.

I bet I know all the new characters Let me see Tenkai, Kasuga, Matsu, Hojo, Toshiie, Saskue, Shingen, Kenshin, Matsunaga, Kojuro, Hideaki, Yoshiaki, Sorin, and Muneshige. It's a shame they put the joke characters instead of the cooler ones like nanbu and amago. I mean, kobayakawa and otomo??? what the hell lol? On the other hand, kasuga, kenshin, hojo and the maedas are obvious choices. I don't think takeda shingen or hideyoshi will show since they die at the start of the story, even if utage goes all non cannon, it would feel weird.

@thousandyoung Actually Shingen was just dangerously ill, not dead. He got better at the end of Yukimura's route, which is why he's considered a likely choice for the surprise character.
