  • dumb assss new carb

  • The quality isn't great.. But to me it sounds like it might be valves, I rebuild engines alot, and I have had them pop like that before and it was the valves, true a carb could make it run bad, but most likely wouldn't make it pop, so I would check the valve adjustment, or they might be bent, or the timing might be off,

  • @Tiddler19 clean your carb

  • Tiddler, you probes made all that up, go suck a dick

  • I have the same problem.

  • Your killswitch is on backwards dumbass, NOW THERES YA PROBLEM!!!

  • @CRFrider89 you and 50 other retards have no idea, the old carb had a warped pilot jet. the things is long gone aswell. now whos the dumbass?

  • @Tiddler19 Ummm your the dumbass cuz you bought a 70cc dirtbike and you care so much about the pile of shit, get a real dirtbike bitch.

  • @CRFrider89 ive got a brand new kfx450r, 2009 arctic cat F1000 sno pro, and a 2008 kawasaki brute force 650. and im still shopping. go waste some one elses time

  • were do you live because ill trade you a xbox 360 with 2 wireless controller one white and 1 black

  • lol he said ar pm

  • is it cold out?

  • ummmmmm thats a carb problem more than likely its the jetting and honestly the carb is probably just dirty even though u say u cleaned the carb there is stuff u cant see in it even though u cleaned it it seems like theres a jet clogged

  • @killswitch6988 he said he tried different jets too tho

  • Comment removed

  • your air adjustment could be wrong or your main jets or stoped up or valves need adjusted

  • ok ,... well this could be only a couple of things. I've run into the same problems before and it too k me a long time to figure it out. I know you said you checked the Carbs so I guess that rules that out,.. however it is good to check again. The fuel I'm assuming is good fresh (avoid ethenol). Check your in-line fuel filter (if equipted). Also check the gasket that seals the carb to the block. Leakage in this area will cause this problem. Finally, CHECK THE IGNITION, JUST CAUSE IT.....

  • would you sell it for 350 ? just asking

  • my son has the same one i bought it for him a couple years ago ..yours has the same problems as mine from i can tell and i hear u've cleaned the carb a bunch of times but its gotta be the carb..i bought an after market carb for mine and now it runs like new

  • thats a fuel problem dude

    carby shop it

  • cant really think of anything else, but since you've done everything else. take the pipe out and try it. let me know if it works. i think i just blew the valves on my xr. its a 98, and burnin alot of oil. i thought it eas just from bieng tipped, but it wont stop.

  • @rangerRZR1 ive gone through everything and it all looks good, but i think its the carb, so i went all out and ordered an 88 big bore kit with the cam, carb, intake and the whole kit and kabootle. and if your bike doesnt stop smoking then its your rings, my buddies drz110 took on water one day and it needed a new top end. it doesnt take much sometimes.

  • @Tiddler19 hey i have an 03 xr 70 i got the carb cleaned out and now it runs better than new u have to do that trust me i now the thats the problem and also change the sparkplug and check out my vids theyll show u how to make ur bike last longer

  • @Tiddler19 i did end up gettin a new piston and ring kit and all that. so it runs. hmm. you said its a big bore kit? it seems like its got the wrong carb. dont get it. did you ever think about buying a new or used carb. maby the previous owner switched it with somthing

  • I've seen pictures on a motorcycle forum where bikes who haven't been used for a couple of years had rust inside the cylinder, that could cause any brown smoke? But the xr is from '00 so it shouldn't be rusted?

Hope you find the problem ;-)

  • Since the rpm's are weird, i would think of a carburation problem. But you've cleaned the carb out completely, you said. You also tested the float valve and the right size jet? Also, your air- and idle screw have the right setting?

I once forgot the spacer between the crankshaftbearing and crankshaft oil seal which made my dirtbike run really poorly.

Anyhow, i'm only experienced with 100cc 2stokes, so don't know much about 4strokes. You are sure that the valves(and valveseals) are okay? greets
