  • Hey great comics man. I'm glad I found your channel. You have a lot of great covers. That Batman #432 is awesome. And I was surprised you mentioned that x-o manowar.I read those as a kid. If want want an awesome x-o manowar read get x-o maowar #0 the origin. I read that about 15 yrs ago and still remember how great it was.

  • I live near Mile High Comics.

  • I've bought strictly from the Mile High website this year, and have only had a couple of errors. But today's delivery, through FedEx, has shown that the box is not impervious to shipping damage. The Near Mint books I bought are now about Good, imo. Also, there are usually 'lost emails' when I try discussing problems with Mile High, such as one late shipment I'm still waiting on. The sales that Chuck put on, make it very irresistible to pass on!

  • @JimCripps1 I've never actually emailed Mile High. Whenever I bought the comics in this video they were purchased off ebay. The invoice had a number to call and I always called it and I always got prompt, courteous service.

  • Mile High sells Kick-Ass Two issue # 2 NM for $14.10 while Lone Star sells it for the cover price, $2.99.

  • I like Mile High but Lone Star seems to have a better supply sometimes and has way better prices

  • I've had good luck from Lonestar Comics. I like Mile HIgh but they're too expensive for me

  • Thinking of about making out a $25 order to MHC with a couple Ghost Rider comics, Scarface: Scarred For Life, and Punisher. Just kinda got into comic books after a guy I know gave me the first rougly 25 comics in one of the Ghost Rider series. I am most likely gona have it shipped via FedEx. How long is shipping? And should I get my stuff in the condition I order them in? Lastly, is this a reliable website to give you all the correct things you've oredered? Please Reply ASAP. Thanks

  • @MrNinja2112 I always bought through mile high's ebay store, so I can't speak to buying off their site. I always shipped via usps. The first few times shipping was fast, this last buy back in april of last year was pretty slow - took about a week. I'd assume fedex would be faster. I've always thought that their grading was strict, however I have seen a few things graded slightly higher than what I would have graded, but of course I read my comics so grades don't really matter.

  • @howdeep02 As far as fulfilling your order, they go out of their way to ensure its right. I have had comics I've ordered not show up, and when that happens I would call. I've gotten a $25 store credit for a comic I paid less than $1 at least 3 times. You can't beat that.

  • @howdeep02 Thank you so much for your help.SHould get my order placed this week.

  • i personally shop at Lone Star Comics (mycomicshop(dot)com. i'll keep MHC in mind though

  • I love Mile High! I haven't ordered from them since 2001 or so but was a regular customer throughout the 90s. Only had 2 bad experiences with them which they quickly rectified. Cool to see they use the same packaging and invoice slips. brings back memories! Thanks for sharing this video!

  • @bat115 Thanks. I've always been a fan of Mile High but there are alot of Mile High haters out there.

  • @howdeep02

Am a huge Mile High fan too. I'm actually from Singapore and have been ordering from them since 1984.

There's a few faults from them; but hey nobody's perfect.

Most Mile High haters are generally fussy and impatient lots (unfortunately). They simply couldn't let little things go over some fuss. They just miss all the fun in life.

  • @howdeep02 I've bought books from them before and they're overpriced in my opinion...don't hate them or Chuck though.

  • great video man! The Fall from Grace run was an awesome storyline, I loved it. ASM annual #21 is one Im still looking for also. Neil Adams!!! the man rules Deadman rules!!! you have exquisite taste man lol. Year One books are incredible too...Miller did a sweet job on those books. Keep up on the videos, job well done.
