  • Makes the 747 look like a pony compared!

  • a truly ugly aircraft!!!!

  • @jimdep333 fuck u bitch

  • The A380 is very comfortable & very quiet.

It's also an incredible feat of engineering.

  • How does the seating work is first class at the top level ?

  • Can't wait to fly on a380

  • 0:26 I wish the 747 pilot would pushback into the a380. That would make my day :)

  • @iwantpk2

I wish the 747 pilot was like:

"Do you need one of my engines? They work fine!"

Now, that would make my day!!!

  • peace of iron is in air

  • me mate flew la-sydney in it, he says premium is like 747 business but cheaper

  • Damn would be nice to ride in that.

  • @MrWillydoit you sir are the worst kind of internet troll I have ever encountered.

    Get a life already!

  • A380 is a great aircraft she's a real beauty alright!

    I love it!

A true engineering marvel from Europe. A380 has been built for future needs and will be used in places such as China where the population and economy grows at phenomenal rates even during a world recession.

I also love Boeing aircraft and the USA I understand is a beautiful country as its people.

The USA media and politics are another story it speaks for itself really and those that buy into it that speaks for itself also.

  • And your comments are factual and intelligent.

Your insults do not change the fact that A380 is an engineering marvel and likely to be more efficient and better than the competing 747-8I. Time will indeed tell once 747-8 finally flys.

You can actually learn alot from your attitude by the way you insult everyone else. I do not need to stoop so low as to resort to cussing and swearing at someone that I do not agree with.

So have a good life MrWillydoit

  • I take my hat off too fachy for spelling out the facts.

He doesn't need to resort to rude language and pathetic insults like MrWillydoit and his bed mate dkorda.

There's something to be said when you can give credit where it is due because any engineer on the face of the planet can attest to the engineering marvel that A380-800 is.

  • 747-8 is a cheap and boring replacement for the classics 747-400 series in my minds eye.Boeing did not want to invest in an all new 747 replacement as it was seen as too risky a buisness venture. I applaud Airbus once again for taking the risk and pushing the envelope in terms of innovation and design technologies. I think Airbus have pushed the avaiation 20 years into the future. Wheras, Boeing are still tinkering with a 1960s 747 design.

  • @fachy1981 That's why it's the most popular aircraft in that category. Makes complete sense!

  • Well when those 747 need to replaced. Do you think airlines will choose the outdated and older 747-8 airframe that has less passenger capacity and less passenger comforts and doign all of this while using more fuel per passenger. The choice is obvious. Airlines will choose A380. Once you have flown in A380, you will never want to fly in 747 again. The next wave of A380 will be more efficent. In the future we can look to many improvements in the A380 frame.

  • красавец

  • it's like the nazgul in lotr.

  • fuckin ginormous monster!

  • rofl the other airplanes looked like midgets

  • Saw this thing t.o. up close @ Oshkosh last weekend ....incredible plane!

  • lol the 747 next to the A380 at 0:24 looked like a toy plane

  • dude if i saw that thing above me i would run. lol

  • man thats the best plane of all what a beast i whish it was in continental

  • that plane is a beast.

    what a beauty

  • like u

  • not go

  • lol, the 747-400 beside it at 0:24 secs while taxi-ing.

  • Size matters :)

  • do any airlines other than singapore, emirates and qantas have an a380 going to heathrow

  • Im pretty sure Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates have them. The United Arab Emirates have 40 of them from last I knew.

  • Emirates does not have 40 of them, they ordered 58 in total but Airbus is nowhere near delivering 40.

  • they don't hav 40...yet.

    XD

  • how fast can this thing go? 800kms?

  • too big, even i run faster

  • Guys someone please reply to my question!

how come the tail has the a380 logo? not the kangaroo sign?

  • flight testing?

  • This was during the first promotional tour for Airbus. Only the wing tips, the QANTAS wording, and the engine logos were done. The promotional stuff for Qantas was done in post-production (the tail logo etc.)

  • Because the plane hasn't had all of it's paint job done yet. Thought that might have been pretty self explanatory, but obviously not. No matter though.

  • It is so heavy, it does not look flight worthy.

  • when you have the engine power, anything can fly..

  • when you have the knowlegde, anything is possible..

  • I've been on 3 flights on the Singapore Airlines A380 and I'm still here typing this response to you so I think we can assume that it's flight worthy.

  • Saw this display at Farnborough, absolutely unbeliveable the way they through it around.

And the takeoff blew a load of grass an shit off the runway into the crowd, awesome stuff.

  • The only way to comprehend how big it is, is when you see it next to other planes like in this video.

  • Beautiful Plane! Such a shame it has to go to Qantas. But I guess it is something that can pick Qantas back up off the ground.

  • man you should c the boeing 747-8 its longer than the 747-400 and its gonna try 2 challnge a380

  • the 747-8 will be the longest commercial plane ever right now the a340-600 has the NOT THE A380

  • oh damm

    wrong vid.

    my bad!

    sorry!

  • why do ppl spell QANTAS like QUANTAS

    ITS QANTAS GET IT RIGHT!

  • get a life you twat

  • twat lol. Good one! =x

  • omg. the wings bend so much.

  • is it me or is that plane painted half quantas half airbus a380 ????

  • yeh coz airbus made one to promote the plane and put it half in and half but used for like ten airlines

  • Yea its the first A380 for QANTAS doing test flights....

  • haha Melbourne always has shit weather

  • The reason that the aircraft is only partly in Qantas livery is that the aircraft was in Australia on a demonstration flight and was being filmed for Qantas promotions. They can use computor gimmickry to add the Qantas logo to the tail because it is relatively flat, but not to the engines nor the fuselage. Hence the latter were painted in Qantas livery for a few days before it's next big "show."

  • that just looks stupid as fuck with half qantas half a380, they should have just gone with all one livery!

  • i agree

  • is that like a test plane where they sell to quintis on clearance.

  • WHat Happened To Painting The Tail?

  • Yeah that's what puzzled me :S

  • hey did it really say quentas iv never seen it?!

  • Wow! That is a massive plane! Doesn't anyone know when the A380 is coming into service with Qantas. I gotta get on one of those!

  • You can sure buy models, for I have 3 of them. Air France, TAP Portugal and Singapore Airlines. It will enter service in the next 5/6 months time. Can't wait to actually enter in one of those giants of the skies!

  • what a rare A380 livery

  • typical Melbourne weather

  • Especially at Tullamarine :P
