hm the new v5.0.0.328 is out hm most bugs are fixed and it runs a lot better and so far i have not had any problems with it being laggy or slow

hey idk about u guys but my texting on the bb storm is slow like if i type it fast it will stop and put the word in after a few seconds i hate that i really need that update thing im starting to get pissed at vz does anyone have this same prob???

update to the like .147 update i think it is. and then go to options.. then security options. then down to memory cleaner. click the options butting on enable or isable and then the like. clean now. and then it cleans it all up

hey guys i know i have the .75 and its sucks

to take a pic and view them its too slow, i was at the vz store the other day one of the guys told me that vz it was suppose to release an upgrade every end of the month for the next 6 months but they dont know why has been delayed..

i guess we dont have a choice but wait.....

Guess what the new .75 is better but still sucks. The accelerometer on picture viewing is below sucks and literally freezes the phone for 8 seconds! This is total BS and I can't understand why Verizon or RIM aren't releasing a better software version already!! There are about 3 BETA versions out there man they need to hurry up and get something better to us Storm owners because this is crap..yeah the iPhone had trouble but it was the FIRST...BBerry should already know better by now

lag is unexceptable, if they want to compete they need to get rid of the lag quick

you can reduce lag by completely shutting down apps... hold down the menu button and that will show all the REady to go stuff. select one, press the menu button and than click either CLOSE OR EXIT to fully close an app. Browser, Camera and Slacker Radio can really make your phone slower. Try it

hey today it automatically came up on my phone to update so i did :) but i also read somewhere else if you go to options then find wireless source update or something similar to that (not sure of the exact phrasing, sorry) but there u can check for updates..good luck, sorry i couldnt be more specific but i got my storm on the 8th and it auto popped up on the 10th so it may take a couple days

They recently sent the update to my phone and I could download it that way. They had something online, but told me not to get it there. Hope this helps!

did the iphone not have a million firmware updates when it first came out? ok just checking. and did the xbox 360 and ps3 not have a million bugs when they first came out? almost every new type of technology is going to have bugs when they first come out. it takes some time for them to get their devices running smoothly.

The new update definitely speeds the phone up 10x faster. Also Rhapsody installs without a hitch and is much much better than iTunes by a long shot. It's nice to have a broader choice, free downloads and a full review of the song before purchase. Rhapsody rocks!!!

Can't wait to get mine in the mail, but damn, that lag between portrait / landscape in the music app was sloooow. I'm hoping that gets a bit more snappy in a later release. Never used an iPhone, so can't compare it to that. I just wish it was a bit more quick.
