For example,my friend of African ancestry & her husband who is Western European have 3 children.One presents phenotypically w/ light skin,one has dark skin, & one has a lovely light brown tone to her skin. Genetics is basically a toss-up as to who gets which genes.Most importantly,we are all beautiful exactly as we are & our racial & ethic backgrounds are a testiment to our ancestors' ability to survive & adapt.
