Happy Birthday Rick James he would have been 64 years old today. Thank you for all the great music you left behind. We will keep that Freak Flag waving high...
This was the very first Rick James song I ever heard back in the day. I was about 17 and I have never lost my love for Rick's music. The guy had talent.

@FilmNoirFan1 Ever heard the 11 minute version of this song? If not just type in Big Time Extended then sit back and enjoy. I've always hated this edit versions. They say this was his weakest album even though it still went Gold it would have sold better had they released the extended version and not wait 30 years later...
first time I heard this jam i was in Tokyo a local band was playing the hell out of it, inthe rupungi district, I think the name of the band was power they were good!
Rick James , Died on my 40th B-day , I had the opportunity to make a Toast in his honor; He will be missed , though remembered for eternity! , To one of the Greatest artest I had the pleasure of listening to when I was growing up and still to this day........Thanks for the memories.
