alright so ive been having some problems with this mission... if i chose to be thomas, i cant carry dynamite, so do you know if theres another way to do it?

I know your comment is 9 months old, but unlike that dick i'm going to answer your question. To get into the vicinity using Thomas, use the Lasso on the dead tree in the front left corner to swing onto the roof of the near by hut.
