using drugs, prostitution & homosexuality is wrong but what the criminals are doing to get rich & do wars & molest kids & murder children around the world is what we have now. you need to know most USA states beastiality is legal & talmud legal to molest 3 year old boys & girls. that is the evils of our governments we must stop. adult prost, drug & gays is minor to what our sick & evil leaders doing for thousands of years.
Are the issues of prostitution and drug legalization more about harm reduction in consentual crimes (i.e. eliminating pimps and drug dealers and the violence associated with them/the impact on affected communities) or, as prohibitionists would have you beleive is it some perverse fantasy of those who engage in these activities? Probably a bit of both but a regulated market is always better than an unregulated market perpetually breeding al capones and sucking up budgetary resources IMO.
Prostitution is a health issue, not because of the health issue of the prostitute, who would be given health checks; the health issue is the customer. If the customer is carrying a disease, then it doesn't matter if the prostitute has a health check, because it would already be too late. Prostitution doesn't help the economy at all.
If you want to help the economy, put abandoned factories to work. Stop importing shit from China, start exporting.
The government shouldn't have a say in what we do in our personal lives, if drugs became legal i wouldn't go out and do them. Just because i can go and buy heroin at walmart doesn't make me more likely to use it. If someone wants heroin now they are going to get it no matter what. Same with prostitution, if people want to do it they will find a way. We might as well legalize it and quit punishing people that just want to fuck.
You know why things like tobacco and alcohol cause more deaths than drugs? Because they are legal and widely accepted. Drugs will become just as dangerous if legalized. Just sayin.
@FrieLegos 1st It is peoples choice. 2nd the stigma they have now will remain .3rd my littler brother can get more heroin/pain pills right now than cigs because it isn't regulated and controlled at any level (I asked and it was surprising but true non the less)... Just sayin.
@cblazer Its the people's choice, but is it the best choice? When people form a government, they agree to give up certain civil liberties in exchange for a governing force, laws, etc. You said that your brother could get more heroin/pain pills that cigarettes. Now imagine what would happen if heroin was legalized. There would be no stopping it. According to the libertarians, the government shouldn't even have the power to control the amount people can have.
@FrieLegos That doesn't follow my logic, meaning if the are legalized and regulated we have a better idea of how to being the process of stopping abuse, right now it's all pretty much a shot in the dark with the statistic of consumption, we rarely hear about the functiong addicts because they don't cause problems and aren't counted. I don't want any of them sold with out id ect. the sudafed law should be applied with drugs(all behind the counter)
@FrieLegos I look at i like this too. Most people aren't gonna go buy a 15 year old cigs 1. because they know how bad they are,2nd there is no money to be made by being the middle man. The policy we follow now of hear no evil, see no evil, there is no evil isn't working. Id imagine that we are fully capable of letting pharmacies police them selves.
@FrieLegos I'm in meth country but it has been slowed because you have to ask for and sign for pseudoephedrine you're tracked by computer to slow consumption but still allowed. I'm not for eradicating the dea because they can be retrained and reallocated to prevention,education,supervision.. I have a basic frame work of a "license" to use drugs that does restrict certain liberties by contract with the government, if people do choose that route. We make them take classes, test. etc
To my bro&sis in Christ that may not agree with Dr.Paul's domestic policy:
Many people agree that our nation was founded on Christianity, so why didn't founders go beyond the right to life in our Constitution? How would the use of gov't force backing our Christian beliefs strengthen our credibility? If laws trend toward alignment of Christian beliefs then what contrast is left for conversion? It is OUR job,not the governments,to spread the teachings of Christ. There is NO morality Through Coercion.
@b3achch1ck96 Lol..."despite popular belief" The shit your saying is the ridiculous
brainwashed popular belief. As a pot smoker of 17yrs now, believe me when I say that all the anti-drug commercials you watched during Saturday morning cartoons was not real science or study. Nobody killed there mom with a baseball bat high on weed and a single joint is not equivalent to three packs of smokes and also does not eat holes in your brain more then coke or heroin. Unlike u, I practiced what I preached
lol at all the big-government fake conservatives who pretend they like the Constitution but really don't and want big government to tell everyone what they can or can't do in the privacy of their own homes.
Tobacco is more harmful than marijuana. If you also wanted tobacco banned and for cigarette smokers to be put in prison "for their own good," you'd still be for big, oppressive government, but at least you wouldn't be such hypocrites.
@cblazer I'm not even old enough to vote you dimwit! lol I came here at request of a friend. I watched the video, I gave my thoughts, I left. Do you really think that is spam?
@FrieLegos Because the statement is a false accusations. Not only that but it is used to steer potential voters away by bringing up negative thoughts with the mention of the articles of confederation, subconsciously binging up the civil war. Subconscious fear propaganda..
@cblazer Ok first off, it wasn't an accusation, it was an opinion. Second, it was not meant to steer potential voters away. A Ron Paul supporter sent me here. Third, the articles of confederation had nothing to do with the Civil War. The articles of confederation were kind of a prelude to the constitution. However, it provided the federal government with literally no power to enforce laws. The government couldn't even tax states. You seem to overreact way to much.
One thing I'm very against is, legalizign hard drugs like, cock, meth, heroine and acid/speed. Those drugs have detrimental properties tied to addiction, health, conscience and life in general. Relating to the first comment, its similar to cigarettes and thats not new information to anyone. It should be taxed by the government like everything is and made to help the society by restricting its use.
@gerry135 dude i know junkies and they never stopped because they are illegal, and my other friends certainly with out a doubt will not start using drugs just because they are legal, believe it or not people know how to think despite what you've heard on tv. Everyone knows how bad they are but current policy is destroying society way faster than all the drugs in the world combined could ever imagine.
Again, there are legal drugs that are just as harmful. Half of the painkillers used 'legally'(supported by pharmaceuticals) are highly addictive, and destroy the body just as much. The current system 'chooses' its drugs and then sells some of them, but makes others illegal. Alcohol and Tobacco(or more precisely Nicotine) are Physcially addictive and dangerous, yet Marijuana, which is only mentally addictive is treated like 'the devil', and the others are 'free game'.
Legalizing all drugs would be a certain disaster. Look what happened in Portugal when they did it a decade ago... Well, drug use, crime, and HIV transmission went down. But I'm sure that can all be attributed to something completely unrelated to the change in drug laws.
state rights is jim crow racist terminology i do agree weed should be legal but white supremacy is the biggest problem this nation faces and before i hear the bull shit yes I am against white supremacy
Drug use- People need to be responsible for themselves and should have the government telling them how to run their lives. Homosexuality-Their humans too! I'd say marriage should not be a government issue, leave it to the church. A new legal form of recognition is needed that is both negotiate and agree as couple is needed. Prostitution- No matter what, it is the world's oldest profession and still exists despite laws. Religious people won't flock to prostitutes anyway.
Ron Paul seems like he would make a much improved president (and the best of all who are running).
You people against Ron Paul need to educated yourselves on issues regarding legal/illegal in perspective to what that does on the society. Educate yourselves on whatever issues you stand against Ron Paul on and a lot of those issues will become solutions.
You're "christian commentary" was... as close to perfect as possible. EXCELLENT! Liberals & conservatives have a habit of wanting to control other peoples lives & force others to believe what they want them to believe. Rather than making a convincing argument & win over the drug user & prostitutes out of their lifestyle, "Let's just send men with guns after them!". They fail to realize, when you truly know God, you truly know freedom & want everyone to share it. Win them by example!
@Eliandor100 Even if it's against the law, prostitutes still can hang out around our neighborhoods. They don't because there's no business there. It's our responsibility as parents or relatives to tell kids not to deal with them or drug dealers, not the government.
@Eliandor100 YOU ARE CRAZY. no prostitute is gonna invade your million dollar home or "gardens" lol that just stinks of spoilt rotten babies. Hooker are gonna hook, Those tv shows get less than one half of one percent of the real ones, those tv shows are there to give you the illusion of safety and fear at the same time. 100% of paul supporters want freedom, damn why do you people want to be enslaved. Unless you bank over 50 billion you ain't in the club of people that own America
Of course gays should not be allowed to marry. And neither should jews, gypsies and mentally retarded people or people with genetically caused physical defects. Our Fuhrer used to build lovely cities in the east especially for them and to stop contamination of the real people.
@2002lees There are no rights. Nobody has rights. There is only power, and then there are privileges that can be taken away. The whole concept of rights is a mistake. Both George Carling and Joseph Goebbels have said good things about that. Odd couple those two.
I agree with Congressman Paul, however I disagree that prostitution and drugs should be in the same category. Drugs effect body chemistry to degrees varying from mild to debilitating. Prostitution is sex with women for money and the only chemistry changes are hormonal. Where one strong drug could end up in the death of many people when mixed with driving (say heroin and driving, not a good mix at all), the other at most could lead to an STD and with enough education it is preventable entirely.
@leonheart00 sex releases endorphins, internal endorphins, do you know what heroin is, an external endorphin, all drugs are harmful to a degree but we shouldn't tell people what they can and can't do with their own bodies that simple. People who do drugs are going to do them illegal or not. We could spend all that money we use on jails for things like education, rehab, ect.saving way more money keeping them productive members of society. AND keeping the real ass holes locked up
Please visit my channel for the unpopular truth about homosexuality.
A person does not need hatred or any kind of phobia in order to acknowledge important differences between heterosexual attraction / behavior / marriage / adoption and homosexual attraction / behavior / marriage / adoption. Even non-religious people know this.
Homosexual activists, with support from the media, have succeeded at framing themselves as noble victims; it's an effective way to push a social agenda.
"the Portuguese government in 2001 tried a new tack to get a handle on the problem—it decriminalized the use and possession of heroin, cocaine, marijuana, LSD and other illicit street drugs. The theory: focusing on treatment and prevention instead of jailing users would decrease the number of deaths and infections" YES there were positive results because instead of jailing them they took them to rehab. thus, they lowered the amount of ppl using drugs.
@b3achch1ck96 And that's exactly what needs to happen here. The FDA or any other Self-serving government institution for that matter should have NO place in telling us what to do with OUR OWN minds or bodies. That is a purely Individual choice. That's the whole point of living in a FREE society. Anyone who believes other wise does not deserve to live in this country and should go live in either Communist China or Communist Russia, if they enjoy being told how to live their lives.
@MONSQUEEKY FREE society, where people can kill people? rob? prostitute? sounds like no control, sounds like war. The thing is that people will give drugs to lil kids who do not have the mind to make decisions by themselves. According to my psychology teacher the brain's frontal lobes only completely mature at age 25. This discussion will never change my mind nor your mind. . unless, something dramatical happens 2 either one of us and makes us realize the truth.
@b3achch1ck96 That statement about no control and brain maturity had nothing to do with what we were talking about. The only thing that you and me seem to be disagreeing on is the Legalization or Illegalization of Drugs. And it is a proven fact that Illegalization has only INCREASED the things you just mentioned, like Murder, Robbery, and Societal War. Now concerning children, I guess we should illegalize alcohol, cigarets, Tylenol, Anti-Depressants, NyQuil, Advil, and cough syrup... right?
@b3achch1ck96 "FREE society, where people can kill people? rob? prostitute? sounds like no control, sounds like war?" Jesus you are seriously Uninformed! The Statistics show that it is a Fact that more people are dying from the WAR on drugs than the Drugs themselves. Think - The only reason there is so much drug related Robbery is because Drugs are expensive and the only reason they are expensive is because they are forbidden. Any idiot with common sense can see that. THINK!!!
@b3achch1ck96 What the hell's that supposed to mean? And how the hell do you even know I smoke weed? I already have my own place, a stable job and I'm doing just fine.
@SOLIDSNAKEz28 don't worry i dont stalk you. it was just a guess. am i right? n well thats good but if you do smoke weed, how long have you been doin it for? and why?
It is an Indisputable FACT that the illegalization of drugs has made the drug problem EXTREMELY worse than it already was. The fact that these drugs are illegal is the whole reason that there is so much violence on the boarder and gang violence on the streets. Don't call this man crazy just because YOU'VE been so brainwashed and domesticated into thinking that some bureaucracy of tyrants should be able to tell you what you can or can't do to YOUR OWN fucking mind.
this man is obviously crazy. the world needs some kind of control. Prostitution legalized?? wtf most of the women who are prostitutes were kidnapped and forced into it its soo disgusting . i accept homosexuality. but drugs? hell no. that shouldnt even be a question.
@b3achch1ck96 It is an Indisputable FACT that the illegalization of drugs has made the drug problem EXTREMELY worse than it already was.
@b3achch1ck96 Keep in mind that the whole war on drugs has nothing to do with protecting society and everything to do with economics. A good example of this is the fact that Alcohol and Tobacco kill HUNDREDS of people a day worldwide and are Legal (because they can be taxed). Marijuana is one of the most if not THE most harmless "drug" known to man, in the sense that hasn't kill a single human being in the ENTIRE history of human existence, yet it's illegal. Doesn't that tell you something?
@MONSQUEEKY ".Over 11 million people smoked marijuana last month. Many may not have severe marijuana side effects from taking the drug but many people will. Despite a popular belief, marijuana side effects speed up the heart, blood and breathing rate. The body is taxed more and this speeds up the aging process just like methamphetamines do. The marijuana side effects from this extra exertion on the body include a higher risk for lung cancer, heart attacks and strokes."
@b3achch1ck96 That's Bullshit. I'm 22 yrs old and I've been smoking weed every single day since I was15 and I'm a hell of alot healthier than most of the people I know. And even if that was true(which its not) it's NOWHERE NEAR as unhealthy as Alcohol and Tobacco. It is a FACT that you have a FAR greater chance of getting a heart attack or a stroke from eating at McDonalds than Marijuana. But Aside from all that, even if Marijauna was a deadly drug, illegalizing it does NOTHING but make is WORSE
@MONSQUEEKY ohkay then lets say he legalizes drugs. people wont only smoke marijuana now, they will do heroin, cocaine etc. the side effects are waay worse for these drugs. btw i found that quote in an article. also, your body may react differently to the drug in comparison to other people.
@b3achch1ck96 Have you read any of the other comments I've sent you? You completely dodged all my other points. People who want do drugs are ALWAYS going to find a way to get them, Legally OR Illegally. Whether it's illegal or not is COMPLETELY IRRELEVANT. The Illegalization of drugs ONLY makes the problem worse. The moment you Illegalize a substance it automatically becomes a commodity for Gangs and Drug Cartels, Which means WAR and VIOLENCE. The FDA has done NOTHING, but start a WAR
@MONSQUEEKY ohkay then why not take another route and say people should just stop doing drugs because MOST are harmful, even if we make it legal people will still fight for it since they would probably buy the most addicting ones causing them to become addicted and buy waaay tooo much till they become poor so then they will have to steal. More people would be doing drugs if it was legal since some actually have moral values and dont go against the law and do something so stupid.
@b3achch1ck96 I completely agree with you. I think people should stop doing drugs (depending on what they are) but illegalization does NOTHING but make it worse. You said "More people would be doing it if it was Legal?" Hahahaha, that is sooo NOT TRUE. Portugal is a perfect example. They Legalized ALL drugs their and the crime rate and user rate DROPPED. And even if the drug rate would increase(which it would NOT),it is better to live in the Chaos of Freedom than to live in the Order of Slavery
@b3achch1ck96 You are so clueless when it comes to Cannabis use. If somebody wants to smoke crack or do heroine, they will. Legalization doesn't dictate what I put into my body. I do not drink alcohol because of the negative effects it has, and I waited until I was 25 to try Marijuana. As far as the quote you found, who cares? Eating fast food regularly has far more long term risks than responsible cannabis use, why don't you fight that war? It is a health issue not a criminal issue.
@DarksideRowsey thats because eating fast food isnt illegal. im not saying that it shud be tho. maybe they should make it legal, because i've come to the conclusion that in the start A LOT of ppl will do drugs, and eventually die because of drugs, and this will open people's eyes that drugs are dangerous and the intelligent ones will eventually not do them anymore, thus lessening drug usage and crimes dealing with drugs.
@b3achch1ck96 "marijuana side effects speed up the heart, blood and breathing rate. The body is taxed more and this speeds up the aging process just like methamphetamines do"...just like exercise does...just like sex does...
Your "side effects" don't sound very bad at all to me.
@nieboh LOL you're stupid.. the side effects arent just while you are doing marijuana it does this to you gradually for the rest of your life. thats why its a SIDE EFFECT. if you excercise that will not speed up your aging process btw and your breathing will only raise while you are doing the exercise or sex. do research. also marijuana lowers your life span significally.
@b3achch1ck96 Well, if that's what you meant, you weren't very clear about it. The way you phrased it originally made it seem like temporary effects while under the influence. However, the "do research" part of your reply is a lazy cop out on your part. I have done research (reading, not clinical) and I have not seen mention of the "side effects" you claim. #IDontHaveFactsToBackThisUp was made for you.
@nieboh k. well i have done research since that was gotten from an article I found while doing RESEARCH K? K. it lowers your life span so if you're doin marijuana i highly advise you to stop.
@b3achch1ck96 its not about whether their harmful, a religious person could say prostitution is sinful and harmful. The point is that its not the government's place to decide what you put in your own body, no matter how harmful it is. Aside from that, every time the government prohibits a popular form of enjoyment it leads to wasted money and increased crime. If drugs and prostitution were legal they could be inspected, regulated and safer.
@b3achch1ck96 Yes, and as I said, the illegalization of these drugs has only made the problem WORSE. The reason why there is so much violence at the boarder and gang violence on the street concerning drugs is because of the fact that they are illegal. Legalize all those substances and the drug cartels and gangs will instantly go out of business. Any dumbass can easily see that. It's the same exact thing that happened with Alcohol during the prohibition...... ...if you even know what that was.
@b3achch1ck96 The FDA has done absolutely nothing in terms of getting rid of drugs and treating people. The statistics show that national drug usage has RISEN in the past decade. All they've done is make a shit load of money off of putting innocent people in prison, and guess who has to pay for all that? YOU and me. Drug abusers are ALWAYS going to find a way to get drugs, legally or illegally. Stop getting all your information from mommy and daddy and government funded programs like D.A.R.E.
@b3achch1ck96 If it was legal, would you use it? Based on what you say most likely not. I won't either as I choose not to do drugs and won't need the government to tell me not to. It's about personal choice. With choices comes responsibility, so if you mess yourself up doing drugs that's your problem and not someone else's. Just like people who are obese, not my problem they got to lose it or deal with their lifestyle choices.
@jteruel671 yes I understand, but wouldnt you also wanna help obese people? by making them know they could die and that they need to begin exercising and eating healthier? If I dont do anything about it I just wouldnt feel right. But that's just me and I respect your opinion.
@b3achch1ck96 We should let them suffer for their mistakes if they keep up with their habits. Their mistakes are not mine. They made personal life choices but we can advise them what to do. It's up to them if they commit to any treatment or weight loss program. It's not the government's role to compel them to do so nor the responsibility to make sure they lose the weight.
@b3achch1ck96 LOL do you even realize how stupid you sound? Prostitutes are only even kidnapped and forced into it because its ILLEGAL it puts them in dangerous situations because its an unregulated market and there are no safe places to prostitute. A regulated market is ALWAYS safer than an uncontrolled black market. FACT
@Whiterhin018 LOL do you even realize how idiotic you sound? thats not the reason, those men that do that are messed up and they'll keep doin that even if its legal
@b3achch1ck96 OMG  heres a hint: it will be a legit business; pimps wont be involved. LMAO; you are so incapable of thinking outside the box...
@b3achch1ck96 The fact is that when you prohibit acts like prostitution and drug use you create a niche for criminal syndacites to exploit & they will always be exploited at the expense of society (more violence, more robberies, etc). When you regulate you control the market and the prices (monetary and socioeconomic prices) decrease lowering crime rates associated with said acts. Your advocacy of the prohibition of prostitution and drug use contributes to the problem. Think alcohol prohibition.
Men are doing some very disgusting things while they are married to women. Watch my video to see what is going on. The video is called "Why are some men inserting eels into other mens bottoms"
Men are doing some very disgusting things while they are married to women. Watch my video to see what is going on. The video is called "Why are some men inserting eels into other mens bottoms"
I don't smoke weed, nor am I a homosexual. But I love going to other countries for prostitution. I love buying pussy so easily and available in other countries. Keep guys like me at home. On top of that I'm willing to trade the favor of legalizing drugs, and gay marriage with those who will legalize prostitution.
And shouldn't "christians" molesting kids and family members be illegal?
THEY don't think so.
It's ALWAYS the pedophiles pushing gay people into the "hookers/drugs" category. And I don't know any "christian" who can keep their filthy paws to themselves.
I'm not disagreeing with him about the freedom thing but heroin is probably one of the most addicting drugs in the world and weed is dangerous becaulse it has a lot of tar in it.
Yes I agree with Ron Paul that the US government should NOT run Americans lives because that would be communist & very unconsitutional. But it really depens on how you use libery & democrocy. It all has to do with depends of the problem.
What IF & that's a big IF, one of your grand childrens & their childrens decides to do prostitution when they becomes adults? Would you except it? Because once they are 18 yrs old, their is nothing you & the police could do about it to stop it. What happens if they murder? What if you legalize coke & your childrens wants to use it,would you except it? What happens of the all DEA agents who died on War on Drugs, will they die in vain since you legalize it? Please answer!
@royaladam there are better ways we can deal with those things, criminalization is bizarre , wake up it has never worked an has to many unintended consequences, THE PARENTING IS UP TO THE PARENTS NOT UP TO THE GOVERNMENT, listen if your kids do heroin, should you talk to them ? guide them etc, or put them in prison for years?? the unintended consequences of Prohibitionare worse than what they want to prohibit. . if u accept that laws you accept a tyranical goverment that should run yourlif
I dont think you are dumb, listen i would hate a lot to have a son/ brother etc who is homosexual. does that mean I want them to be sent to jail because i personally disagree. personal disappointment is not a reason for legislation, prostitution should be legal. the real question is who owns our body? . you have every right to shame them complain, teach your values, but not infringe on liberty. i dont like gambling, that is not a reason to waste taxpyers money incarcerating someone else
Shame yourself because you're most likely a bigger hoe than any gay person I've ever known. WE'RE not the ones blasting out kids left and right, not knowing who the father is and taking everyone and their grandpa to the Maury Povich show for DNA tests. Sweep off your own porch before doing it to mine.
@ChannelBelongs2Scott you are jsut a troll, not even worth debating, the unintended consequences of those prohibitions are worse than the prohibition itself, to be ignorant and lump those complex social issues that its just pedophiles pushing gays into..... dude seriously you are desperate and stupid to even say that
Sorry but I speak the truth because I pay attention to this crap. Pedophiles: "Don't pay attention to us, focus on the gays!". The Catholic church are professionals at that. And in my opinion, the people who DO turn their attention to people who's minding their own business are willing accomplices to pedophiles - even if their own kids are victims of them - running their mouths is way more important than taking care of their own kids.
@ChannelBelongs2Scott dude you are in need of help , you belong in asylum. what the hell has voluntary actions between adults, and drug use have to do with pedophilia, if anyonw here is more likely to be that is you
Yes you are correct that no one has the right to control the people or you. But you could also "save lifes" & help young women do the right thing for the greater of good. Whats next? that cannibal should be legal?
@royaladam number 1 doing it by criminalizing people has too many unintended cosnequences. #2) what for you is not right for someone else, you are just using a Victorian argument to impose our will by force on someone. then we would also have to criminalize smokers and promiscuous and gays . What happens to freedom? what happens to personal responsibility, that is where the greater good lies.
if you have a family friend or someone it'd be better to help them than throwing them in prison.
@ToFierce2handle Because he's an evangelical, and that's what evangelicals think like. This exact opinion a few decades ago and he'd have planted 'the niggers' in the same sentence. A bit further back and he'd have added 'the Jews' as well.
Can't help it. Very religious politicians like Paul remind me of The Borg from the Star Trek series. Mindless drones repeating what's been said to them, and doing as they're told without question, trying to dominate destroy societies.
I have a hard time trusting this guy... he is too good to be true
Obama, before winning election said that the first thing he will do is send the troops back to the US and end the war and other bullshit. Did he? NO.
These guys will say anything to win election, not to mention that these people are
all hired by the rich that run the world. If Ron Paul was for real he would be bagged by now. I think we all need to stop voting and destroy/end the "government" or everything will go to hell
for the first time in my life, I agree with a politician.
WHY THE FAWK HASNT AMERICA VOTED 4 THIS GUY YET???
I dont agree with the things that I believe are immoral but at the same time thats not for me or anyone else to judge. if someone wants to whore out their body or abuse their body with drugs or have sex with some1 of the same gender then i guess thats their "individual right" to do so!
Strictly, "legalization" is not the libertarian position; rather, it would be a return to a free market in chemicals and substances, the US policy for 200 years. Drug "abuse" was unheard of then, because it was considered the YOUR responsibility, not the responsibility of the federal gov't, to keep yourself clean, lest you be kicked out of work and socially shunned. Only when drugs were outlawed did they become vastly more harmful, as well as popular. Prohibitionism is immoral and anti-social.
since when is homosexuality illegal? are there actually still some states that criminalize homsexuality? That's fucking abhorrent. speaking of abominations...
The 1st thing in the Bill Of Rights should be that consenting adults have the right to do whatever they want as long as it doesn't interfere with someone else's rights.
Thinking something is immoral or perverted is no basis for punishment. Arrogant ignorant jerks just can't handle anyone doing anything sexual that they disapprove of so they lash out any way they can.
What consenting adults do in private is no 1 else's business.
Listen carefully to what he is saying. Put down your preconceived prejudices and listen. He is right. The President of the United States is not the Pastor of your Church. He is not your Daddy or your conscience. Government's role belongs in the States where the people can vote for what they think is right. This is not a Theocracy. Prohibition failed and the war on drugs failed. People are sinners and will sin. The Gov't can't make people good.
Extortion is the destruction of the United States. Property tax extortion and income tax extortion must be eliminated. Everything else is far less important.
Just like my nosy, evil, lying, neighbors and landlords, and crooked cops, how can you have a job upholding the law and breaking it in your own personal life! FUCKING HYPOCRITES! Get a life and go repent your own damned selves, ask God to deliver you from jealousy and envy!
Ron Paul is exposed on the patriot statesman by aisha foda. His own interview exposed his promotion of homosexuality as well as condemnation of God for calling homosexuality as sin! ron paul believes his medical experience overrides God's law of royal love.
@1integrity The problem with gods law is that it was written by man as a means of controling the masses, so as to maintain a certian amount of order. It is to my understanding that god gave man the gift of freewill. So who is man to take that freewill away from his fellow man? The way I see it the only people that a person should inhibit from doing something, is their children.
I like his idea that we are not to be the police of the world.....but that does not mean we shouldn't still do sanctions and give aid. Smother the enemy with thoughtful and peaceful tactics, not deadly force.
It may be possible for some things, like drug legislation, of course, that the harm caused as a result (whether directly or indirectly) is greater than the harm it prevents. I think in that case, maybe a focus on rehab and treatment for drug users rather than imprisonment, legalise and regulate those drugs which are less harmful than alcohol or tobacco, but keep the 'hard' drugs illegal and still go after the 'big boys'.
To the poster regarding his commentary: Yes, you cannot legislate righteousness, and I do believe the only way our sins can be got rid of is by the blood of Jesus. However, I do believe the Bible does say that the ruling authorities (in our case government, courts, police &c.) are there at the instigation of God and are there to punish wrongdoing (Romans 13)- so I see it as reasonable to assume that a government should uphold moral values, within the constitutional limits of its country.
In listening to Milton Friedman I agree with his libertarian philosophies. I have alot less sympathy for the drug user who kills himself thru a heroin addiction than I do for the innocent child who is killed in the crossfire of a drive by shooting which would never have happened had drugs been legal to begin with.
Seat belt laws, helmet laws, trans fat ban, smoking restrictions, gun laws, gambling laws, driving restrictions, flourescent bulbs, thermostat control, where do we draw the line?
@happytoolove Well the point is, is that its the lesser of two evils. When something is legalised and controlled the power is taken away from illegal drug cartels, pimps and homo-phobics. That power is then given to the government to ensure that drugs and brothels are treating their customers/employees safely rather than drug lords and pimp decided whos appropriate because they just care about the money.
@happytoolove You obviously don't see how legalizing it would end the whole underground "forced prostitution" rig. Not to mention, with the legalization of drugs, Cartels/pimps are out of business.
Must say, this guy isn't bad, disagree on a couple points, but I can hardly judge someone through a 8 minute video. We'll see what goes on this year and next.
actually he is an old school conservative he just wants the government to stay out of peoples lives...the christian right only supports Israel because they can't wait for Jesus to come back it has nothing to do with liking Israel or the Jewish people (I am unrelgious despite my name and have no connection to israel) also gays are real people who should have EQUAL rights
A hardcore liberal in conservative clothing = Ron Paul. he is pro homosexual marriage, pro mosque at ground zero, pro choice, pro legalize cocaine, meth and heroin etc at the fed level, pro legalize prostitution and pornography at the fed level...and pro cut aid and support from our ally Israel.
This guy is an activist in a monkey suit, breaking down common sense through a microphone. He stands for freedom of SELF choice and those guys are usually killed, or debunked by corporate slave masters.
im still baffled by how homosexuality is even in the category of being illegal, how can you restrict rights because of a sexuality? is that seriously what this world is coming to? its the littler things like this that shows that the constitution is really powerless, and it only powerful on those who fear its power
@TheSnakeSalmon What do you mean what the world is coming to? Homosexuality has been taboo for a verrrry long time. We humans are making progress, though it seems slow to us because we are experiencing time at the speed of time.
@TheSnakeSalmon Ron Paul supports gay rights and he is a Christian, but his argument is that Christians should not judge gays, only God can. In the Bible, Jesus hung out with the prostitutes and freaks and did not judge them. Once again, Ron Paul leads by example instead of condemning people for their sexual preference.
this guy is nuts , man

using drugs, prostitution & homosexuality is wrong but what the criminals are doing to get rich & do wars & molest kids & murder children around the world is what we have now. you need to know most USA states beastiality is legal & talmud legal to molest 3 year old boys & girls. that is the evils of our governments we must stop. adult prost, drug & gays is minor to what our sick & evil leaders doing for thousands of years.

Whiterhin018 6 days ago

Just sayin.
cblazer 2 weeks ago
@cblazer Its the people's choice, but is it the best choice? When people form a government, they agree to give up certain civil liberties in exchange for a governing force, laws, etc. You said that your brother could get more heroin/pain pills that cigarettes. Now imagine what would happen if heroin was legalized. There would be no stopping it. According to the libertarians, the government shouldn't even have the power to control the amount people can have.
FrieLegos 2 weeks ago
@FrieLegos That doesn't follow my logic, meaning if the are legalized and regulated we have a better idea of how to being the process of stopping abuse, right now it's all pretty much a shot in the dark with the statistic of consumption, we rarely hear about the functiong addicts because they don't cause problems and aren't counted. I don't want any of them sold with out id ect. the sudafed law should be applied with drugs(all behind the counter)
cblazer 2 weeks ago
@FrieLegos I look at i like this too. Most people aren't gonna go buy a 15 year old cigs 1. because they know how bad they are,2nd there is no money to be made by being the middle man. The policy we follow now of hear no evil, see no evil, there is no evil isn't working. Id imagine that we are fully capable of letting pharmacies police them selves.
cblazer 2 weeks ago

MontajBlaze 1 month ago
Legalizing all drugs would be a certain disaster. Look what happened in Portugal when they did it a decade ago... Well, drug use, crime, and HIV transmission went down. But I'm sure that can all be attributed to something completely unrelated to the change in drug laws.

I agree with Congressman Paul, however I disagree that prostitution and drugs should be in the same category. Drugs effect body chemistry to degrees varying from mild to debilitating. Prostitution is sex with women for money and the only chemistry changes are hormonal. Where one strong drug could end up in the death of many people when mixed with driving (say heroin and driving, not a good mix at all), the other at most could lead to an STD and with enough education it is preventable entirely.
leonheart00 2 months ago

@b3achch1ck96 And that's exactly what needs to happen here. The FDA or any other Self-serving government institution for that matter should have NO place in telling us what to do with OUR OWN minds or bodies. That is a purely Individual choice. That's the whole point of living in a FREE society. @MONSQUEEKY FREE society, where people can kill people? rob? prostitute? sounds like no control, sounds like war. @b3achch1ck96 That statement about no control and brain maturity had nothing to do with what we were talking about.
MONSQUEEKY 3 months ago
@MONSQUEEKY ".Over 11 million people smoked marijuana last month. Many may not have severe marijuana side effects from taking the drug but many people will. Despite a popular belief, marijuana side effects speed up the heart, blood and breathing rate. The body is taxed more and this speeds up the aging process just like methamphetamines do. The marijuana side effects from this extra exertion on the body include a higher risk for lung cancer, heart attacks and strokes."
b3achch1ck96 3 months ago 3
@b3achch1ck96 That's Bullshit. I'm 22 yrs old and I've been smoking weed every single day since I was15 and I'm a hell of alot healthier than most of the people I know. And even if that was true(which its not) it's NOWHERE NEAR as unhealthy as Alcohol and Tobacco. It is a FACT that you have a FAR greater chance of getting a heart attack or a stroke from eating at McDonalds than Marijuana. But Aside from all that, even if Marijauna was a deadly drug, illegalizing it does NOTHING but make is WORSE
MONSQUEEKY 3 months ago
@MONSQUEEKY ohkay then lets say he legalizes drugs. people wont only smoke marijuana now, they will do heroin, cocaine etc. the side effects are waay worse for these drugs. btw i found that quote in an article. also, your body may react differently to the drug in comparison to other people.
b3achch1ck96 3 months ago 2
@b3achch1ck96 Have you read any of the other comments I've sent you? You completely dodged all my other points. People who want do drugs are ALWAYS going to find a way to get them, Legally OR Illegally. Whether it's illegal or not is COMPLETELY IRRELEVANT. The Illegalization of drugs ONLY makes the problem worse. The moment you Illegalize a substance it automatically becomes a commodity for Gangs and Drug Cartels, Which means WAR and VIOLENCE. The FDA has done NOTHING, but start a WAR
MONSQUEEKY 3 months ago
@MONSQUEEKY ohkay then why not take another route and say people should just stop doing drugs because MOST are harmful, even if we make it legal people will still fight for it since they would probably buy the most addicting ones causing them to become addicted and buy waaay tooo much till they become poor so then they will have to steal. More people would be doing drugs if it was legal since some actually have moral values and dont go against the law and do something so stupid.
b3achch1ck96 3 months ago 2
@b3achch1ck96 I completely agree with you. I think people should stop doing drugs (depending on what they are) but illegalization does NOTHING but make it worse.

Eating fast food regularly has far more long term risks than responsible cannabis use, why don't you fight that war? It is a health issue not a criminal issue.
DarksideRowsey 2 months ago
@DarksideRowsey thats because eating fast food isnt illegal. im not saying that it shud be tho. maybe they should make it legal, because i've come to the conclusion that in the start A LOT of ppl will do drugs, and eventually die because of drugs, and this will open people's eyes that drugs are dangerous and the intelligent ones will eventually not do them anymore, thus lessening drug usage and crimes dealing with drugs.

It's the same exact thing that happened with Alcohol during the prohibition...... ...if you even know what that was.

@b3achch1ck96 The FDA has done absolutely nothing in terms of getting rid of drugs and treating people. The statistics show that national drug usage has RISEN in the past decade. @b3achch1ck96 If it was legal, would you use it? Based on what you say most likely not. I won't either as I choose not to do drugs and won't need the government to tell me not to. b3achch1ck96 3 months ago
@b3achch1ck96 OMG  heres a hint: it will be a legit business; pimps wont be involved. LMAO; you are so incapable of thinking outside the box...
Whiterhin018 3 months ago
@b3achch1ck96 The fact is that when you prohibit acts like prostitution and drug use you create a niche for criminal syndacites to exploit & they will always be exploited at the expense of society (more violence, more robberies, etc). When you regulate you control the market and the prices (monetary and socioeconomic prices) decrease lowering crime rates associated with said acts. Your advocacy of the prohibition of prostitution and drug use contributes to the problem. Think alcohol prohibition.

ChannelBelongs2Scott 4 months ago
I'm not disagreeing with him about the freedom thing but heroin is probably one of the most addicting drugs in the world and weed is dangerous becaulse it has a lot of tar in it.

Yes I agree with Ron Paul that the US government should NOT run Americans lives because that would be communist & very unconsitutional. But it really depens on how you use libery & democrocy. It all has to do with depends of the problem.
royaladam 4 months ago
To Congressmen Paul,
What IF & that's a big IF, one of your grand childrens & their childrens decides to do prostitution when they becomes adults? Would you except it? Because once they are 18 yrs old, their is nothing you & the police could do about it to stop it. What happens if they murder? What if you legalize coke & your childrens wants to use it,would you except it? What happens of the all DEA agents who died on War on Drugs, will they die in vain since you legalize it? Please answer!
royaladam 4 months ago
@royaladam there are better ways we can deal with those things, criminalization is bizarre , wake up it has never worked an has to many unintended consequences, THE PARENTING IS UP TO THE PARENTS NOT UP TO THE GOVERNMENT, listen if your kids do heroin, should you talk to them ? guide them etc, or put them in prison for years?? the unintended consequences of Prohibitionare worse than what they want to prohibit. . if u accept that laws you accept a tyranical goverment that should run yourlif
Ddstairclimber 4 months ago
I dont think you are dumb, listen i would hate a lot to have a son/ brother etc who is homosexual. does that mean I want them to be sent to jail because i personally disagree. personal disappointment is not a reason for legislation, prostitution should be legal. the real question is who owns our body? . you have every right to shame them complain, teach your values, but not infringe on liberty. i dont like gambling, that is not a reason to waste taxpyers money incarcerating someone else
Ddstairclimber 4 months ago
@Ddstairclimber
ChannelBelongs2Scott 4 months ago
@ChannelBelongs2Scott you are jsut a troll, not even worth debating, the unintended consequences of those prohibitions are worse than the prohibition itself, to be ignorant and lump those complex social issues that its just pedophiles pushing gays into..... dude seriously you are desperate and stupid to even say that
Ddstairclimber 4 months ago
@Ddstairclimber
ChannelBelongs2Scott 4 months ago
@ChannelBelongs2Scott dude you are in need of help , you belong in asylum. what the hell has voluntary actions between adults, and drug use have to do with pedophilia, if anyonw here is more likely to be that is you
Ddstairclimber 4 months ago
@Ddstairclimber
Yes you are correct that no one has the right to control the people or you. But you could also "save lifes" & help young women do the right thing for the greater of good. Whats next? that cannibal should be legal?
royaladam 3 months ago
@royaladam number 1 doing it by criminalizing people has too many unintended cosnequences. #2) what for you is not right for someone else, you are just using a Victorian argument to impose our will by force on someone. then we would also have to criminalize smokers and promiscuous and gays . What happens to freedom? what happens to personal responsibility, that is where the greater good lies.
if you have a family friend or someone it'd be better to help them than throwing them in prison.
Ddstairclimber 3 months ago
Why would you place homosexuality in the same category as prostitution and drugs ?
ToFierce2handle 4 months ago 3
@ToFierce2handle Because he's an evangelical, and that's what evangelicals think like. This exact opinion a few decades ago and he'd have planted 'the niggers' in the same sentence. A bit further back and he'd have added 'the Jews' as well.
Can't help it. Very religious politicians like Paul remind me of The Borg from the Star Trek series. Mindless drones repeating what's been said to them, and doing as they're told without question, trying to dominate destroy societies.

WHY THE FAWK HASNT AMERICA VOTED 4 THIS GUY YET???
I dont agree with the things that I believe are immoral but at the same time thats not for me or anyone else to judge. if someone wants to whore out their body or abuse their body with drugs or have sex with some1 of the same gender then i guess thats their "individual right" to do so!
xyzang123 5 months ago
Strictly, "legalization" is not the libertarian position; rather, it would be a return to a free market in chemicals and substances, the US policy for 200 years. Drug "abuse" was unheard of then, because it was considered the YOUR responsibility, not the responsibility of the federal gov't, to keep yourself clean, lest you be kicked out of work and socially shunned. Only when drugs were outlawed did they become vastly more harmful, as well as popular. Prohibitionism is immoral and anti-social.

Prostitution should be decrimnalized.
Strangerinasland 7 months ago
Listen carefully to what he is saying. Put down your preconceived prejudices and listen. He is right. The President of the United States is not the Pastor of your Church. He is not your Daddy or your conscience. Government's role belongs in the States where the people can vote for what they think is right. This is not a Theocracy. Prohibition failed and the war on drugs failed. People are sinners and will sin. The Gov't can't make people good.

1integrity 7 months ago
@1integrity The problem with gods law is that it was written by man as a means of controling the masses, so as to maintain a certian amount of order. It is to my understanding that god gave man the gift of freewill. So who is man to take that freewill away from his fellow man? The way I see it the only people that a person should inhibit from doing something, is their children.

It may be possible for some things, like drug legislation, of course, that the harm caused as a result (whether directly or indirectly) is greater than the harm it prevents. I think in that case, maybe a focus on rehab and treatment for drug users rather than imprisonment, legalise and regulate those drugs which are less harmful than alcohol or tobacco, but keep the 'hard' drugs illegal and still go after the 'big boys'.
thelyniezian 7 months ago
To the poster regarding his commentary: Yes, you cannot legislate righteousness, and I do believe the only way our sins can be got rid of is by the blood of Jesus. However, I do believe the Bible does say that the ruling authorities (in our case government, courts, police &c.) are there at the instigation of God and are there to punish wrongdoing (Romans 13)- so I see it as reasonable to assume that a government should uphold moral values, within the constitutional limits of its country.
thelyniezian 7 months ago
In listening to Milton Friedman I agree with his libertarian philosophies. I have alot less sympathy for the drug user who kills himself thru a heroin addiction than I do for the innocent child who is killed in the crossfire of a drive by shooting which would never have happened had drugs been legal to begin with.
Seat belt laws, helmet laws, trans fat ban, smoking restrictions, gun laws, gambling laws, driving restrictions, flourescent bulbs, thermostat control, where do we draw the line?
Simetra007 7 months ago
oh hell no way to many are forced to be prostitutes are u stupid what actions would u take if u did legalize it
happytoolove 8 months ago
@happytoolove Well the point is, is that its the lesser of two evils. When something is legalised and controlled the power is taken away from illegal drug cartels, pimps and homo-phobics. That power is then given to the government to ensure that drugs and brothels are treating their customers/employees safely rather than drug lords and pimp decided whos appropriate because they just care about the money.
Zk1f3r 8 months ago
@happytoolove You obviously don't see how legalizing it would end the whole underground "forced prostitution" rig. Not to mention, with the legalization of drugs, Cartels/pimps are out of business.

actually he is an old school conservative he just wants the government to stay out of peoples lives...the christian right only supports Israel because they can't wait for Jesus to come back it has nothing to do with liking Israel or the Jewish people (I am unrelgious despite my name and have no connection to israel) also gays are real people who should have EQUAL rights

A hardcore liberal in conservative clothing = Ron Paul. he is pro homosexual marriage, pro mosque at ground zero, pro choice, pro legalize cocaine, meth and heroin etc at the fed level, pro legalize prostitution and pornography at the fed level...and pro cut aid and support from our ally Israel.

im still baffled by how homosexuality is even in the category of being illegal, how can you restrict rights because of a sexuality? is that seriously what this world is coming to? its the littler things like this that shows that the constitution is really powerless, and it only powerful on those who fear its power
