  • What I meant once you have the photo frame. Was to get rid of the selection so that you don't have the hash marks any more.

  • Gavin when you added the photo frame. What did you click to deselect the layer? Mine still has the hash marks around it. Thanks again for all the awesome tutorials you do. Its great for a beginner like me to learn and understand Photoshop thanks to experts like you...

  • I have Adobe Photoshop but dont know what it can do and am scared to try. There r so many dropdown boxes its overwhelming. Dont know what Im looking for or apply it. Thnx for urs tho. Its wonderful in someone else,s hands.

    John, Canada.

  • @JOHNDEEBANK

It's amazing what you can learn on YouTube. Try this. Just pick a button name off your photoshop and put it in the youtube search box. For instance 'photoshop clone stamp tool'. You will get plenty of videos on that tool, basically there's something on every tool.

Try it. You'll learn a lot.

  • @neilonline4u Thnx for responding Neil. That is really good on ya. Im going to do that and hope I will finally understand it. The wife is upset at me for having it and not using it. Cheers.

    John, Canada.

  • fantastic

  • I've tried this effect before but not using your technique, you really saved me some time and it looks even better than how i have done it in the past. great job

  • one word Gavin - AMAZING!

  • this video certainly is worth the price of admission. I've been waiting on this video for quite a while. I have been trying this effect with various results. I can hardly wait to try out your extremely simple techniques. Thanks.

  • fantastic video as always. thanks for all the info

  • you should give us a link of the image so we can practice - to get a similar result to yours .. just an idea (:

  • I notice you did not get the background out the the windshield grate. Looks like it would be a real hassle, Could you put up a link to where you got the car image from, I would like to give it a shot, see if I can find an easy way to correct the background from grate, I would like the challenge.

  • @Eddiefry deleting the mud from the window grates, shouldn't take you more than 10 seconds with the correct eraser option set. From memory, I think it is the second option - Delete Background Color" or something similar and set the color to remove to be the same as the mud, then make sure the settings are set to ignore other colors in the way, then use a big big brush and go for it.

  • @ZagatoZee Thanks, I have not used that yet in photoshop, Ill give it a shot and play with it a bit. There is so much to photoshop, Loving the program.

  • another winner Gavin. Let me know if you are ever coming to Costa Rica!
