the guy is stopping them, because normally gymnasts when they finished their competition have to sit with other gyms and sometime have to answer to journalists. But Anna didn't want that, she apparently wanted to go back to the training room (which quit normal...) And the guy wanted her to go with other gymnasts. :)

What concerned me is that she got an 8.55 technical (difficulty) score. She definitely completed all of her difficulties. She should have gotten higher there.

I think the scoring system, not just the judges, let her down. The focus on execution in the current system (2005-present) helps her much more.

There's absolutely no question about the audiences' love for Anna. Actually, there's no doubt about people's love & support for Anna in general. People ADORE her! We all adore her :) I really feel like Anna's been dealing w/unfair, fucked up results in all her years as a rhythmic gymnast, and I respect/admire her so much for her level of professionalism & inner strength. So forget the judges and scores, Anna is-and will always be-the one & only true champion. WE LOVE YOU ANNA!! <3

The audience were on their feet for her, standing ovation, for sevral minutes. Everyone expected her to win the World AA title. But then the score came up and she was 2nd to Kabaeva, and the audience started booing the judges.

Well, it was very high, 27.something (out of 30), it was the highest score in the competition, but it was aslo by far the best routine of the competition, and her score wasn't high enough. She deserved even more, and she deserved to be AA champion.

I think I was there then. This was my very first contact with RG. My mother got some tickets. All I could clearly remember was that I saw a hoop routine that I loved, and that there was such an uproar because of the low points. So I guess this is that incident.

And the security... Well, someone said once that she was supposed to go out from the other side to talk with the press or something, but she refused to so the security guys were mad. I am not sure, though.
