"Virtual Memory Unit" is the Japanese title for it. "Visual Memory Unit" is the US and UK title for it. The seller I got mine from Amazon told me that I was getting a US VMU but I got a Japanese one instead. They aren't too different except the language, I was hoping that there was a way that I could hack it so it has the English language on it but I don't think that will work.

Hey Fecman did you hear Sega is making new Genesis games SERIOUSLY some company made a clone of the nomad *portabla genesis* licensed by sega and they agreed to release new 64 bit cartridges for it YAYYYYYY oh and a new dreamcast game is being made wooh sega sure is going retro!

64 bit? they never did 64 bit before so it's not possible. I knew about the nomad clone that had preloaded Genesis games though.

the vmu was just a pointless waste of space! dont let these reviewers fool you into thinking it was actually supported cuz guess what it wasnt, stupid little messages and shit does not count. the vmu was nothing more than a 4mb gray scale tamagachi wanna be memory card. something the dreamcast could have done without, seriously no one would have missed it and it was just something sega could say hey look what we have that sony and nintendo dont! well guess what sony and nintendo laughed at you!
