Well, I don't go by scripture nor do I lead my life by other people's terms. We all agree that, for the most part, killing is wrong. Yet, we also have morals that are relative to that person. Some find it wrong to eat animals, others don't. Those are such things that are for that person to decide. Your morality does not come from a God or Gods. It comes from your surroundings and what you were taught. So if you are Muslims you say eating pork is immoral, while for Christians its not.
Morals are subjective to the person, and that is what we have to respect. If I want to eat pork, even if you think is wrong, I should be allowed to, but you should still have the right not to. That is what we call pursuing happiness. The way we can pursue happiness is by living a fulfilling life by our terms, and not by others terms. Unless by them pursuing a fulfilling life would interfere with yours, such as killing people or stealing.
That is why if people consensually want to have sex, no matter how they are doing it, it should be their right. The same goes for marriage, people should be allowed to marry, because they love each other, not because of someone else feels its wrong, by doing that then you are messing up with people's pursuit to a happy life.
You also have to put yourself in that gay persons place. You probably cant help that you are that way, and even if you could that is the way you feel you can fulfill your life. Some find it wrong to eat animals, others don't. Those are such things that are for that person to decide. Your morality does not come from a God or Gods. It comes from your surroundings and what you were taught. So if you are Muslims you say eating pork is immoral, while for Christians its not.

That is what we call pursuing happiness. The way we can pursue happiness is by living a fulfilling life by our terms, and not by others terms. Unless by them pursuing a fulfilling life would interfere with yours, such as killing people or stealing.
