If you can I would greatly appreciate it if you could upload more videos from this string of performances. Anyway, thanks for this one!

  • 2:04 IV-V-I=IV, (formule en marche in french) Fabulous harmony!

  • Just got their album. Incredible.

No conmueve, solo excita bajas pasiones. Es increíble que 200 años después esta música aún no haya sido superada. El verdadero arte es eterno.

  • I've never gave much of a listen to bethoven's music up until now. and it's opened up my world of music to a new level. it is magnificient, although I wish the new generation would give music such as this a chance too. There's only about one type they like these days. 'tis a shame.

  • very beautiful ending for op.18 to close these 6 string quartetts, the combination of the initial adagio of this movement with the succeding allegretto to disipate the accumulated tension is work of a genius, long live ludwig van and his modern excellent interpreters the ABQ.

  • i do agree that Beethoven was a genius and that his music, particularly his chamber works, are among my favorite, but your incessant analysis and seemingly religious devotion to him is rather off-putting and somewhat disturbing. There is too much music in the world to fall into the 18th and 19th century habit of endorsing one composer and claiming them to be the be-all-end-all of music. It is not Wagner's day.

  • you got the point,I am totally fond of many other composers, in the same order: Handel, Tchaicowsky, Verdi, Schubert, Bach, Liszt, Mendel ssohn, Haydn, Brahms, Vivaldi, Chopin, Dvorak, Grieg, Wagner,Telemann, Bizet, Ravel, Rodrigo and so many others, I'm a fan of opera of which I could be talking endlessly, then I love 20th century music in English(lead by the Bee Gees, Beatles, etc) Spanish and latinamerican( being myself from Venezuela), Italian, etc. but Mozart and Beethoven that's e religion

  • preach! long live BEETHOVEN and mozart! :)

  • @haruwan21 they are both death

  • An excellent performance!

  • BRAVO! I have collected your works for more than ten years now and find that you best interpret the work of Beethoven more than all. Thank you.

  • Great performance of one of the greats quartets by Beethoven! I loved this video, thank you so much!
